Affecting everyone who is currently converting monies into baht, with decline in value not being restricted to one currency. The strength of the baht is the cause, but nothing that a decline in exports, stockpiling of unsold rice, current government collapse due to coalition defections etc won't fix.

That would be my guess but finding anything official detailing this is impossible.
On paper, Thailand is in good shape financially sound hence baht strength.

some Thai friends have been complaining that the place is being taken over by Chinese

this is what happens when you shutdown all the good farangs from your society, eventually you get all the shit from Asia and other third world countries

this is what happened to Vietnam, and Cambo
