Thank you. I have looked at their website but it seems to suggest that they would only convert Sterling to Baht and have no facility to send Sterling to a foreign currency account in Thailand. They are closed over the weekend but I will telephone their customer services on Monday morning.

Can just use a UK bank and transfer in Sterling as HH suggested.

I can remember back to the eighties vageally its was 38something.but I do remember the wife buying quite a bit of gold that her mates in the uk ordered at 70plus only not long after it went up to 97.she has never forgot it.

Was 37 to the pound when I came here in Oct 1992.
