Difference between Thai guys & gals

At my daughter's school the boys sit on one table girls on another, at the end of the school day the children that have finished their school work are allowed to go home. So when picking my daughter up, its difficult not to notice all the girls have finished and having a gossip but most of the boys are still struggling away trying to complete their work. The other noticeable thing is that at the local universities, a high percentage of the students are female, I read some where that at the prestigeous universities 70% of the roll are female students. Just observing around the Moo baan here, the children out playing and interacting with each other are females, what are the boys doing ? sitting at home watching cartoons I am told.
To me the empirical evidence points to Thai men being less intelligent and much lazier than Thai females. If this is true, it must come about during up bringing, I mean they must be born with the same amount of potential.
My experience is that boys are treated by thier parents in an entirely different way.
The local shop keeper has two children 1 of each. The boy is a fat, indolent creature. Totally lacking in social skills while his younger sister seems a bright girl, always helping her mother in the shop while brother lies on a bed watching crap cartoons.

The Thai boys seem to be very immature. The girls end up having to pick up the slack at an early age.

Male children have no responsibilities and are allowed to act as they may. While female children are 'expected' to help their mother and the youngest of the females gets all the shit.

It all has to do with the role models their parents provide. Men lay about drinking and jabbering with their mates while the wife is harvesting, cooking, washing etc. etc.

The way of life in Asia, it ain't only Thailand, spend time in either China or Malaysia.

Western blokes (the good ones) make the best husbands.
Asian gals (the good ones) make the best wives.

Simplistic I guess, but I wonder what societal reason there is for this.
Latino's are pretty crap husbands too.

Having lived here and in Mexico, married to locals in both places, I can see no difference, as well as others that have lived in Mexico say the same thing and only difference is Mexico has a lot better food, Better fishing and not as crowded and farang/Gringo has more freedom in Mexico.
No problems with Mex visa either.

^ Yeh BG, I've heard gringo's are in demand in Mexico as husbands too, and the local men are considered irresponsible. Similar story in the Fil's, Brazil, much of Latin America, even Moslem Indonesia.

I got a friend that I worked with for years in heavy const.
He has a daughter that married a mex national who was working in const in the states, so he bought a few acres of land down at the cape, built a nice house and is living high there, got a 8 meter ponga with a 200 HP yamaha outboard and fishes dorado, marlin and humbolt squid daily, just has the nice life.
Kinda sorry that I went west and he went south. But I had lived down there and had been robbed at gunpoint just to damn many times.
Mexicans seem to be worse thieves than Thai, but that is changing here too.

Yep, know a few of these scenarios. Really don't like these spoilt fatties.
It is invariably the girls who are expected to 'help out' in the house and look after siblings.

Same in Mexico, Raise a boy as a master, named after his father, married or not and tell him everyday that he is just the coolest thing and will surely be president when he grows up or at least be the most important asshole in town and never ask him to do anything that will demean him or go again his grain.
The girls there do get some tending to but very little, and not even as much as they get here, which in our house is not a damn lot, just mostly do as you please and EXCUSE ME if I said anything to offend you in any way..
Boys in either place are just a waste of the oxy depleation that they cause.

The missus has looked after her waster family since she was about 12. Boys and girls. Only one who worked was her mum. The rest of them sat around being lazy ****s looking for easy money. She still is the only one who takes care of her mum. Sad to say she still loves them. i would have kicked my sibilings out if they had kept fucking up like that. As far as I know now though her mum hasn;t told the rest of the clan that we are sending money every month and has actually managed to get them to start kicking something in. Not sure how much but hopefully a few more grand so the old dear is taken care of.

Maybe lazier, but yes women here are the achiever. It's the same in the west too, women tend to do better than men. They have stronger motivations and all want to be independant. Western men seem to fail to deliver on their high expectations, which explain why so many western men go for more "traditional" foreigner women

More actual violent crime in Mexico than here, but even that is starting to even out.

Cops in mexico are equal to these here.

But the Army there seems to have a tad more pride than here, here it seems as the cops and army are in competition for the "corruption trophy"

I was having a discussion with my wife about the fact that her son is the 32nd worst student in a class of 32. Her response "he's just a boy"... I didn't bother to point out the self-fulfilling prophacy of that statement.

" "he's just a boy"... Is a hell of an excuse for an idiot.

My wife's 17 YO daughter brought her report card home to me the other day and she got quite a few 3.5 and 4.0 and only one 1.5. but thats OK cause it was for French.
