How can I track down the tossing pisspot that drove into my car and sped off?

I feel it will be impossible. I was just tootling along minding my own business when a fuckwad mototaxi bounced off the side of my car. He wobbled a bit and carried on through a red light. Now I have an enourmous dent and scratch on the car and no way of claiming against his (probably non existent) insurance. Bollox. The only description I could give the police would be orange waistcoat and half a tree obscuring his numberplate.

He would only have class 3rd class ins. which only covers hospital, and you should have 1st class ins. so that should cover your car.

Bobbins you need to understand the cruel harsh reality. Your lucky he kept going.
Otherwise he would have blamed you for the accident.
The reality is you are at fault.
If you hadn't of been in the country driving a car the accident would not have happened. So technically you're at fault here.
That's just the way it is. (the farang is always at fault syndrome)

Suck it up the damage can be fixed fairly cheap (about 5K). Or just wait until the next moron comes along and hits you.

It is not strictly true that the farang is at fault. I had a minor accident a couple of months ago. Backing into a space a woman came tearing around the corner of the carpark and walloped me up the jackey. She was furious and shouty. All I could say was jaiyen pet. When the insurars arrived, she had adopted the cocky 'it was her fault stance' imagine her surprise when she was found to be at fault. Her (red plated car) was virtuallly destroyed at the front drivers side, while my truck was barely scratched. In the words of the great Nelson 'haha'
