Good news story - Karma in action

Pattaya Baht Bus Drivers caught-up in Chinese get-rich-quick scam

A group of 10 Baht Bus Drivers, who operate in the Huay Yai area, appear to have been caught-up in a Chinese get-rich-quick-scam, which has been operating around South-East Asia for some time and now appears to have arrived in Pattaya.

We met the drivers on Wednesday who were all displaying banners on the side of their vehicles in Chinese Language. The banners also feature the face of Mr. Zhang Jian, who is a 24 year old Chinese Businessmen, who has been recently operating in Malaysia where he is currently under investigation by authorities there.

The Baht Bus Drivers were told to hand over 5,000 Baht each to an agent and after one month they could receive 1,000 Baht per month for 8 months, netting them a profit of 3,000 Baht. In return they would display the banners on the side of their Baht Buses. Other drivers were known to have invested nothing but were promised 300 Baht per month after 1 month. In both case the payments have not been forthcoming.

The group were also told they would be entered into a Prize Draw for the chance to win 800,000 Baht or a BMW car.

The group has now contacted the Police who are investigating.
Con men get conned. Happy days. Hope the taxi drivers bought in big as well.

lol apart from gnarling up the road, parking allover the shop, robbing their customers (when they are not gnarling up the road for 10 baht), burnt any real bus that tried to operate here. Apart from that, one of the coonts reversed into me the other day with his metal step on thing fucking the front of the car, refused to stop, and when I eventually got in front of him "no insurance. Me not pay. You want trouble?" or words to that effect.

Bunch of criminals, nothing more nothing less.

A good , short karma story.
Possibly true , possibly just a story.

Too true. In her student days, my mum had a hand-printed dress adorned with pretty Chinese characters. Everyone admired the dress, (for none of them could read Chinese).

She wore this dress at all the hiso functions until a visiting Chinese professor advised her that the characters were all totally rude and sexual phrases, such as 'I love it up the arse', 'fill me big boy' and 'I live for spunk', (or whatever phrases were considered extremely rude in the 1950's).

My mum told me that the only disappointing thing about all this was that no Chinese speaker had ever taken her up on the phrases...

    True story
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile
