Mangosauce, has it gone?

I was just reading galts page and it had a bit about mango sauce, so I thought I would have a look at mangosauce as I hadn't read it for a couple of months, and it seems to have gone, the server is up and responding, mysql works, so what has happened?

Galt has been doing a bit about outing mangosauce in his weeklys, then suddenly mangosauce seems to have dissappeared, what the fok does he have to hide?

Didn't David (was that his name, too drunk to remember) have some kind of problem with Google classifying his site as porn and then losing all his ad revenue ( only about $700 a month but enough to make it worth his while)?

^^Naaa, that was about a year ago, last time I checked a couple of months ago he was up there with stickman on entries in google.

That's from Google cache, like you say - the site seems to have disappeared. That's a big fkn shame - he might have have been another ol' fat fxr but he was funny and had a way with words.

But why take the whole site down? it will still get hits and revenus from google ads, seems starnge.

The site was doing well for visitors compared to the rest of the Thailand related sites.

Never read it mesel' though.

I seem to remember that there were no google ads at all on the site the last time I looked.just a "click here to advertise"

Seems that the all new unimproved stickman mark 2 is gonna have a lot of work on his plate

also mangosauce still has a few hundred entries in google so they aint totally ignored him, just dumped what they thought was crap.

edit: all those addresses above were originally IP addresses - sometimes vBulletin is too anal

Ctrl F5 it dave, then it wont resolve, thats a hard refresh, or try with a browser you haven't used to visit mangosauce, it aint there nomore.

Google may not ban him from Search results but if they "feel" the site violates the adsense agreement they will withhold paymet and discontinue serving ads. I think this my be the google problems he was referring to. Someone should tell him Yahoo has an ad program similar to google these days.
You can't show both on the same page (another "violation") but the ad format, shapes, sizes and delivery methods are very similar.

Mangosauces big problem was that it was a blog that didn't control the reponses to the bloggers posts. The blog was funny but the regular responders were wankers who just wanted to fight each other.

Mango was supposedly on his own server so he has to pay his hosting anyway, I assume he hosts other sites so why bother taking down the mangosauce one?

Naaa, I don't think he knows, notstickmans article came out on the 7th and had no mention of sordid nasty dirty little secret, mangosauce was last indexed by google on the 7th, so he probably took the site down on the 8th or 9th and today is the 10th, hmmmm, it's got to be one hell of a great secret, maybe he works at one of the Catholic schools and someone has piccies of him shagging one of the nuns or something
