Yea, those hairstyles are something ain't they.
Damn I sure would like to be able to turn the clock back, but this time I sure would want to do it different than I did the last time.

I spent most of my time during that period in Nam tho.

What would you change, or what do you regret not doing?

The 60s were a different and difficult time for many of us, To do the right thing, and to believe someone else as to what that should be.
Young guys sometimes are easy to convince, the lure of adventure and money is a strong enticement to go along with what you want to believe.
That mixed with booze and some other things that tend to alter your thinking.
I am not saying that what we [WE, not the USA] did was wrong, but I just wish that I had it do do over, I know I would do it different, I was not in the military as a uniformed trooper so I could have pretty well done as I wished, would have lost the job, but so what.

You would want to do it different coz you have all the past experience, but without it and in the same situation than then do you really think you will not repeat the same story?

Sounds like a kind of a wipe your ass on a hoop question.

Which came first the chicken or the egg.

No one really knows what they would do in any situation until after you have been thru it, Easy to be sanctimonious and say what you would do, But I did say that I would do it different, what I should have said was I hope I would do it different because without that experience there is no telling what would be done.
You should realize that and it seems you just want to argue, well you will have to do it with someone else.

No intention to argue, just a morning thought.
