Iraq kicks off again - Battle for Baghdad soon ?

ISIS militants march on Baghdad with a bullet in the head for anyone who gets in the way | Mail Online

Here we go - Iraq war starting up again.

Hard to keep track of the goodies and baddies-
    I think ?????
On one side it's the Al queda inspired ISIS Sunni jihadists
On the other side its the Iraq government + Iranian special forces +possible USA airstikes .
Is that right ? America and Iran fighting on the same side ...

Iran has sent special forces and a unit of elite troops to Iraq to bolster efforts to halt the advance

The battle for Baghdad is nigh: Thousands of men answer Iraqi government's call to arms as ISIS jihadists bear down on capital
    • Iraq's government has indicated a willingness for the US military to conduct airstrikes against radical Islamist militants
    • Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant a have taken over Iraq's second biggest city Mosul and town of Tikrit
    • Government forces have stalled the militants' advance near Samarra, a city just 110km (68 miles) north of Baghdad
    • ISIS's goal is to create a Islamic caliphate (state) - it already controls territory in eastern Syria and western/central Iraq
    • Iraq's parliament were to hold an emergency session today but it was postponed due to a opposition boycott
    • Kurdish forces are in full control of Iraq's oil city of Kirkuk after the federal army abandoned their posts
    • Iran has sent special forces and a unit of elite troops to Iraq to assist the Iraqi government halt the advance
    • Turkey is negotiating for the release of 80 nationals held by Islamist militants in Mosul

    '
Meet the new ''bin laden ''

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, (seen here when he was a prisoner and more recently) is the shadowy head of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant

ABU DUA: IMPRISONED BY THE US, THE MAN WHO HATES THE WEST MORE THAN OSAMA BIN LADEN AND IS THE DRIVING FORCE BY ISIS

They do this shit on purpose mate.

Saddam was a liberal (compared to fundamentalists)

Bush and Co killed him to create instability and the need to be constantly involved and be able to steal the whole bag.

Yeah blue, there is a causal chain from Iraqi WMD to ISIS, so why don't you spare us the crocodile tears? Mission accomplished.

And like Tony Blair before him, William Hague has said Britain "will support the United States in anything that they decide to do", but without sending in troops - yet.

Is this same "good" ISIS/ISIL terrorists that the US/Saudi/Qatar are training, feeding, patching up when shot and arming with non leathal weapons such as anti tank and surface to air missiles systems to fight against Syria?

You just can't get reliable staff these days.

All ISIS need to do is hold a vote and announce they are ceding from Iraq, as there are lot of their type of Muslims living there, and ask Russia for an airforce enforced no fly zone.

No problem with the Kirkuk oil field, the Iranian will defend it, have a local vote and re integrate it with Iran.

No word on the colour this revolution been designated yet?

^ Don't worry about that Cameron is stamping down on immigration ,, he deports at least 6 non EU far easterns each week now ,, problem is its creating havoc in the care homes where they were working 80+ hours a week for the minimum wage .

Those nasty EU people who work there know how to work the system that the non EU,s don't qualify for ,, so getting that lot to do over 25 hours per week ( benefit qualifying zone ) is proving nigh on impossible

    well done DC !

By the way rush through a bit more green field building permission to allow us to build more homes for our Romainiun friends to come and live in !

US wondering if it should invade Iraq

The daily mash's take on it.

US wondering if it should invade Iraq

Iraqi Rashid Al-Ghazali said: “Oh please America, come and rescue us from our terrible plight.

“And don’t bother planning what to do after you’ve occupied us. That would be a waste of precious time.”

Former Prime Minister Tony Blair said: “Because of the visionary leadership of myself and President George W Bush, neither America nor the UK have any problems of their own anymore.

“This is the perfect moment to spread our innovative recipe for success across the Middle East.

An old school friend of mine is in Iraq at the moment. The speed with which the ISIS force is tearing through Iraq is impressive, well unless you are sitting in Baghdad awaiting their arrival.

Just another reminder of one lesson in life we all need to learn. Any time you hear the US discussing another country in the world, think of Iraq, and tell them to STFU.

The problem in Iraq, as it was put to me, is that the locals hate the Christian invaders more than the Muslim invaders.

Wanna bet? They will want to now even more than before. The US are now going to watch Iran all over Iraq, helping the people and reaping the rewards. This will be untenable to the US.

What you mean is Iraq wanted to handle things themselves, but the US didn't like the idea so installed AlCIAda to cause more destabilization, knowing Iraq would have no alternative but to look to the US....

As Western leaders publicly push the Syrian regime and the opposition to the Geneva II peace conference that begins Wednesday Washington has also been quietly supporting moves by Saudi Arabia and Qatar to give weapons and cash to rebel groups to fight al-Qaeda's Islamic State of Iraq and al-Shams (ISIS) in Syria.

Have a little look at Afghanistan as well, as they go crashing towards their "Free Democratic" election.

Oh yeah, and just to add while this and more is happening, Obama is allowing more voting fodder into the borders. As someone finely put "Intercourse in Mexico = US citizenship!"
