I don't mind buying good liquor. Somehow I seem to appreciate it more. Now I don't just share with anybody. I do enjoy having a few friends over and breaking out some good stuff. Actually one time I opened a very rare bottle of Casa Noble Anejo tequila as i looked at it long enough. After the first sip I wish I had a few friends over to share it. I found drinking it alone not as enjoyable.

I brought over my poker chip set. Need to have a poker and shit talking party.

Never really been into spirits other than gin. More of a beer person, myself. If I had to pick a favorite brew then I guess it would be a good IPA.

Just once and it was very nice. It was at a whiskey tasting at my friends bar here in Seattle. Also got to try Pappy Van Winkle that night. Truly amazing.

^ I love those one off distillers Can't find them in many liquor stores. Have to know someone. I have a bottle of Koval from a distiller in the Chicago suburbs. Haven't opened it yet. I only have one and likely won't come across another. That's the hard part about the one offs. You find a good one and it's gone and you wish you had bought more.

Well, the first mouthful was a disappointment. My memory of it was a much more pleasant experience. I guess that's what 10 years does to your memory. Never mind, the second, third and subsequent mouthfuls were much more pleasant. Time for another glassful now. It could be a rather agreeable evening.
