^ Are you sure the red stuff isn't petrol, Mendip?
Is that a swimming pool in the background?
^^ It doesn't taste good enough to be petrol. Apparently its based on white whiskey infused with herbs and roots and stuff.
^ Yes, I should be doing lengths in the pool as part of my fitness program but figured stopping the habitual evening Leos was the first step.
^ somtamslap will be salivating over your YaDong
I wanted an after work beer, as I have no work tomorrow, but the wife was very aggressive saying that she didn't want me to go out...
So, we agreed that I'd just take the dog for a walk instead.
Cycling should be banned!!!
So where's the dog?
Had a few of these tonight with my Welsh mate. Instead of the usual lemon, they recommend slices of cucumber instead.
Took some getting used to but I thought it a nice change. My mate started dry-retching on his third glass - not sure if it was the taste or his body reacting to a bit of salad.
Betty, that dog gets more ludicrous everytime you post it...Is the water contraption yours that you take with you on your dog crawls?
looks like the bottle folds down into the tray - probably has a belt clip for the hip^sters
might be a subtle way to carry vodka around, though when people see you lapping out of the bowl they may give you strange looks
but looking at the socks and sandal crowd he hangs out with , a man lapping at a dog bowl on the ground is unlikely to be the most outrageous thing happening
That dog is a wonderful bundle of love (&, a pussy magnet...).
He is neither ridiculous nor pampered.
You are correct, Sir.
The socks actually belonged to a group of 4 young ladies, who spent a lot of time around my thighs playing with Chok Dee and making me feel chok dee...
British people get drunk more often than anyone else, survey finds
By Jack Guy, CNN
(CNN)British people get drunk more than any other nationality, according to a new global survey.
The results of the 2019 Global Drug Survey, published Thursday, revealed that British respondents get drunk more times per year than people from anywhere else.
Adam Winstock, an addiction psychiatrist and founder of the Global Drug Survey, said British respondents are drinking too much, too often, regarding getting drunk as the point of a night out as opposed to enhancing the evening.
Even one drink a day could be shortening your life expectancy
"We have never grasped moderation. It's not part of our culture or conversation," he said. "We need to learn that more fun with better health and fatter wallets can follow from a bit less, a bit less often."
And drinkers around the world should consider cutting down to benefit their health, Winstock said.
"Deaths due to alcoholic liver disease and cancer due to excessive alcohol consumption are on the rise, along with obesity and poorer mental health," he said. "Drinking too much makes all these worse; drinking less make them better."
Researchers spoke to 123,814 people from more than 30 countries in preparing the report, and they found that people on average got drunk 33 times in the previous 12 months.
The results reflect the number of times that survey respondents said they got drunk, rather than the amount of alcohol consumed.
Those from English-speaking countries got drunk most often, according to the report, while participants from South American countries got drunk on the lowest number of occasions.
UK respondents said they got drunk 51 times in the past year, compared with 50 times for people in the United States, 48 in Canada and 47 in Australia.
Chilean respondents, on the other hand, reported getting drunk just 16 times a year and Colombians 22 times.
About 38% of survey participants said they wanted to drink less in the next year.
The Global Drug Survey has made an app, The Drinks Meter, to help people keep an eye on how much they are drinking, as well as publishing guidelines for safer drug use at saferuselimits.co.
Majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd
Tomorrow is another 'alcohol restriction' day. Don't forget to stock up on yer Lao Khao if there isn't a mom n pop shop within stumbling distance.
Fancied a few of those Kopper cans in this nice an balmy afternoon, but both sevens are completely out. Gonna have to go for the main mrs' vodka with a frozen peach in it topped up with ice water.
Who the hell counts or keeps track of exactly how many times you get drunk in a year?
If it's only once or twice, fair enough, but over 10 or twenty?
But perhaps they remembered it the other way round - the sober days:
"I was drunk every Saturday night last year except that day I broke my leg playing football."
"I got blotto every Fiday except the night I drove to the cop-shop to bail out my boyfriend."
"I imbibed far too much alcohol every Thursday at masonic lodges except when I did jury duty for that big murder case."
I've just joined the Mont Clair Club.
Bin 5?
Probably where it belongs. Not as good as the Peter Vella.
Tom, and your issue is, You know you only get one go right? Its not our fault its the water quality, its a historic thing...
Small beer was seen as acceptable in 18th-century England because its low alcohol content allowed people to drink several glasses without becoming intoxicated. ... It became increasingly popular during the 19th century, displacing malt liquor as the drink of choice for families and servants.
FFS Nev drinking like that reminds me of Ayia Napa in 1988 was great before the wankers turned up....
EDIT
Funkin Manc and Gents Pikey ones

...^*cough*...a bit Fishian there, NPT...
went to the pub with a mate for a few pints - thought I'd try one of the beers of the month - beerfarm shirazzaweiss sour. I was a bit surprised when it came out of the tap - and the fella next to me said "WTF is that beer?!!"
It was sour as fuck - every mouthfull was followed by salivation but it was OK. (the dark one is an arctic ale or something). I think everyone else in the pub thought me and my mate were a couple of old queens - I grabbed his arse on the way out to give 'em something to talk about
