I read on another thread that she was going on her own. WHY? If I were ever to breed and that is doubtful I would want the cause of my trouble to be close at hand even if he weren't in the same room.
    Good luck anyway

    Wow thanks everyone.

This morning we had the meeting with the anethatist and then I dropped my wife and daughter home, got back to work and remembered that we hadn't gone for the blood test we were meant to have. Bugger, so back home so I can look after the daughter who is asleep and the missus has just driven off to the hospital. Bit of a pain as it is busy as at work but still nice to have a break and check teak door as well!

We tried to get out of them admitting her tonight but they wouldn't budge so so tonight at 8pm will drop her off. Perhaps being Thai they dont trust her to fast!

Tomorrow morning at 5am I will front up and help get her ready before it all starts at 7.30am.

Thanks again for your best wishes.

You really should be there Memock.

Being there and watching your own child being born is an experience not to be missed. One you will never forget for the rest of your life.

I already replied on the other thread that I wouldn't miss it for the world. I can't be assed retyping it - i will go and cut and paste instead.

As for what to do while your wife is away, what about totally redecorating the house, including curtain and bed linen changes, relandscape the garden or balcony and make her a gorgeous meal with crystal champagne and candles for her return?
Of course I will be there - wouldn't miss it for the world.

Having a c section means that she will be in hospital for about 5 days afterwards hence that for some of that time I will be home alone looking after my daughter.

I like your suggestions on what to do for her for when she returns, however she hates my cooking and we are moving out of this house in a few months time. Perhaps just some flowers and a clean house will be okay.

Rearrange all of the furniture and place an enormous stuffed badger in the hallway - when your wife returns insist vehemently that the house has always been like this and stick to your story....The very best wishes to you and your family at this special time for you all

nb: whilst you are alone be sure for some quality 'me' time....Put some power ballads on the stereo, crank the volume up loud and really let yourself go big time - Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart.

Our neighbour's Thai wife is a week overdue and looking very uncomfortable. I hope she soon gets the same result.

    Hey everyone,

As Cimboc mentioned, 825am this morning a beautiful baby girl arrived. C section babies are always better looking so this one is nar ruk mak mak!

Mum is a little unwell and is thank fully asleep at the moment so I have popped home to say goodnight to Ariya and have just cracked my first cold one. Will head back in half an hour for a few hours before coming back home and crashing out.

3.280kg and 50cm long and no name yet. Any suggestions?
