Sweets (or candy to the heathens)

traditional sweets from the old-fashioned online sweetshop uk

    Just found this place again

Ordered from them a few years back.

They have stopped making Irn-Bru bars now. I'm in shock.

There's a stall at my local Saturday market that sells Bassett Liquorice sticks, not the soft chewy stuff, I mean the tough long-lasting stuff - It's very nice, but it does paint one's mouth and lips black - you end up looking like a Goth who didn't really make much effort.

    I don't like sweets.

But those teeth lollies were fun as a kid (they weren't on your menu Q)

I like to eat things like oysters, olives, cheese, egg plants or raw fish/seafood when i have the munchies...... my taste buds must be more mature than youze guys...

You must be enjoying the barbeque restaurants with kimchee and all the other spices and veges in korea Q. I have been there a few times and have fond memories of dining out.....

    I don't have a sweet tooth.

I got half way through one of those Wham bars once and it pulled the supporting rings off my molars which formed part of my dental brace.

I also like to eat things like raw vegetables, anchovies, olives, salami, cheese, pickled onions, salmon sashimi, Ryvita, biltong, crabstix when I fancy a nibble. My taste buds must also be more mature than you lot, maybe not W.D.Raffles. I like proper food, absolutely loathe anything from a fast food chain and I get very angry indeed when I ask for cheese and am directed to plasticy, square Kraft slices or anything in a tube or jar.

Here I am on a daily diet of grilled fish and decent rice, usually eaten off a banana leaf, FUCK sweets.

I think you lot need to grow up a bit... Sweets indeed.

    How about now Q?

Have you tried korean barbeque restaurtants serving thin barbequed beef, kimchee, spicy-miso, and something else, boiled rice, all wrapped up in a korean lettuce leaf?

If I cook a few meals worth and freeze it. It works out cheaper.

Sad bastard that I am but I sometimea have a dozen frozen curries in my freezer and various incarnations of bognaise.
