    Something's come up

For the second time this month since uploading some of my videos to YouTube, I have had interest from a wealthy expat in Thailand who is willing to pay generously for my services.

A Canadian woman I know on Samui is about to put me in touch with a European ex TV cameraman who needs an assistant editor and apparently it would suit me down to the ground.

The question I am having difficulty waiting for an answer is...

If I've been offered full time work by a farang, where will I stand visa wise and can I bring Sandra - i.e. could I legally live in Thailand with my foreign fiancee working as an assistant editor for a rich farang?
"I'm an outsider by choice, but not truly. It's the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out. I'd rather be in, in a good system. That's where my discontent comes from: being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin' straight ahead. Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

^ For both of us? Would I have to be married before coming over?

I think you would need to be married, fiancees are not counted as relatives. She could get her own visa though, as a tourist

that will please her mother etc

Of course, as a British citizen working for a German you can't get a Thai work permit, unless you are married to either a Thai or German national.
But then, Sandra looks Thai, so that should help, or maybe a letter from her parents will do the trick.

I think I read in one of his quick replies to some one that he was offering around THB 100,000 month, you and Sandra might be able to split it down the middle as THB 50,000 month is I think the basic wage needed for Farang to secure a work permit.Good Luck.
^ maybe he has a production company set up

^ Of course I forgot! Fuck, when the hell are Thailand going to re-release YouTube onto the web! The idiot who posted that disrespectful video of the king has had the offending thing removed.

Surely this can't go on forever.

    Any news on it?

Yes, news is that the German wasn't impressed by the dead link and is looking for someone else now.
