Thread: Dreams?

So..some take off on their sailboats others trek here there and others frick around on farms and in bars.......

So what is your dream/fantasy (yes we all know about your 14yo teenie threesomes but this is not about sexual fantasies).

No really!..always wanted to fly a military jet, dive under the arctic, treck to south pole or maybe sail or paddle up the Amazon or Nile, climb Kilimanjaro..or follow the track of Alexander the Great....never happen but one can dream eh!.What's yours?

I always wanted to go to Spain and explore the Moorish history there,it is only about 2 hours away from me on a plane but I have never got around to it because I spend most of my money going back and forth South East Asia...I will try and fit it in next year..

Nope, have no desire to do anything or go anywhere

1. to feel the fear and isolation of walking on the moon, or on mars.

2. time machine travel back to medieval england, mid 15th century, and forward to say 1000 years from now. also england or mainland europe.

To travel much more. To get back to Thailand again. One is secret but will never happen. And to run an antique shop with Mr NR

I dream about seeing coloured auras
around people I see in everyday life, &
about little bald doctors in white coats.

But then again,I am half way through

Maybe it is age and booze or the Tom Yum ... have real interesting movie like dreams these days, HD colour and immense detail about stuff of which I have no experience or knowledge........
Chemistry,machinery,processes, trains, boats, planes and real places I have never been to and people I have never met.
If I could remember them ...could sell the movie scripts maybe?

Last night was a doozie...everyone was speaking Thai...frickin boring and annoying, no subtitles. Gotta wonder what untapped power there is in the old noodle...
.... how on earth can my soggy brain give me dreams in a foreign language of which I have little or no knowledge....maybe Urdu next time.......weird.

Also have been extremely lucky with my profession giving me the opportunity to trade of hours worked for time in lue and being able to travel every 10 weeks.

Life ain't no rehearsal, no time for dreams, must get into it EH.

That sounds great Terry but not much good if you were the family way inclined. If I had two goes at life I'd probably spend my second one similar to you. You've clearly made yourself a happy man, not much more we can ask from life than that.

I know what you mean. In my dreams I can drive & I've never taken a lesson in my life, but I can actually technically drive in my dreams. Makes you wonder how much your subconscious actually takes in (or how much your brain makes up!)
