I could look this up on wiki but I've not been this shocked since England last won the world cup. I've not done 3 weeks non-stop drinking. I physically cannot. I gotta eat, I gotta be civilised. I did 6 days last year at a low ebb, but that was self inflicted.
Anyway back to the 3 week thing, my neighbour a few floors above told me this morning he'd been 'on the piss' for 3 weeks now and he was on his way to the shop to buy more high strength cans. I'm talking about pure drinking and smoking all day, no food, the guts won't take food after a certain time anyway, he told me.
''Didn't you get hungry? Not even ravenously hungry?'' I bloody do the next morning after a binge. No was his answer, he's been doing it for years, ok he was a bit reddened about the face and looks about 57 instead of his 45 years of age. Haven't caught a wiff of him or his breath thank God, I bet you could hold a flame to him and he'll go up like an inferno.
''Don't you worry about your insides? Don't you get pain?'' Negative answer again, he's modified his organs it seems, but what happens inside?
I consume lots of water when I drink anyway but am sure he doesn't. So his mouth and throat would have taken a battering, I doubt his oral hygeine is too important to him, so let's assume he hasn't brushed for weeks. His throat with all that smoke passing through? People smoke more with booze so it's not just like doing 10-15 a day.
Lungs and heart? I wouldn't want to know. Liver? Ditto. Stomach must be suffering, bet he's had an ulcer of sorts over the years. All the empty guts and booze, a candidate for Irritable Bowel syndrome? Probably. pancreatitus anyone?
Overworked bladder? What are his bowels passing? Two more areas that can't be neglected. Ok I'm done being a doctor, I'll lay decent odds this guy is dead by next year.
Well, I've had none of the below problems, apart from the slurred speech.
