it was in the news thread and your post was in reply to some of my (also deleted) posts which were deemed, probably correctly, to be irrelevant to the main subject of the thread.

the moderation here is not too intrusive, and i dont see any need for posters to be told why their posts have been deleted. friscofranklins comments spell it all out quite nicely.

I was having a good laugh at your responses to the thread in question and then it was all stopped. They fucking ruined it. The thread was moving along in vintage TD fashion and boom, it was all over.

I have 9000+ posts since 2010.

He joined 5 years before me and has less posts. I know better what is going on here then he does.

That's another thing. He did delete personal things upon request. Without hesitation. And I thank the mods for deleting the stuff that I asked them to delete because it was going beyond the small world of TD.

PERSONAL information is totally different then petty moderation to keep some bleeding hearts happy.

Im just bitter about the pikey red headed stepchild thread being shut down.

I have found, with some of my posts over the years, that when a mod deletes an offensive post, he/she/it also deletes all posts relating to the original offensive post.

But they nearly always leave the very first antagonistic post that caused somebody to make a post that needed deleting in the first place.

Just like TV, you can be slightly gobby, obnoxious, pointless and rude, but the person who tells that person to go fuck himself for being an ignorant twat gets his posts deleted.

IMO , anyone who posts such things is devoid of emotion , compassion , humility , decency and probably a few other things as well .

I do recall a case from last year where someone wrote unpleasant things on a facebook page where someone had died . They traced him, arrested him and he got four months in jail
