Bars with natives

Kik bar is letting groups of Thai guys get drunk in there. Only leads to trouble and did do last night as some girl wanted to side swipe my mate which led to a bit of a fracas.

Bars should really consider who their best clientele are.

I went to walk in there a week ago and some drunk Thai guy was having a go at one of the girls and got thrown out.........by the other girls.

I steer clear of bars where Thai males work behind the bar. Nothing but trouble generally.

Have you been into Nobby's lately mate?

Cornwall Dave has bought it and it's not to bad these days. Got the Mr's sausage rolls on sale as well.

Gert and myself went into a bar in Bkk suk soi 22 one night quiet place free pool so i had a few beers she had a few soft drinks we played 10 games of pool.Reckon we were there just over an hour think the bill was 600 baht i gave a 200 baht tip as the pool was free.Next night we went back 2 Thai guys playing pool 1 can of coke with a straw in it,as we all know they will play pool all night for free and drink the 1 can of coke we left after i downed my first beer and went elsewhere.Plenty of other bars with free pool looking for people to spend more than 50 baht over an 8 hour period.

These things need to happen more often in the real country bars...

For those whom might not be familiar with the comparatives - there is a big atmospherial [is there such a word?] difference regarding urban and rural establishments.

I will definitely go in again and try a sausage roll... Give me a shout if you fancy a beer or three in there one night.

Kik bar is a good bar... Been in lots of times and had a good time in there until last night.... One nutter girl who has a dislike to a mate was going to land a punch on him because she knew she would have back up from the drunk Thai guys. My other mate pushed her away and then 1 of the Thai guys was in our face going nuts... We let things calm down a bit then went next door.

Should have stayed in the Booze Lounge... Nice bar on Khao Talo.

He will certainly be avoiding the place from now on.

Made me think of the Fast Food places chock a block with students getting grinds at the weekend, 5 of them at each table, one soft drink. No place to sit for actual customers.

As will i. If they cant keep yaba heads from assaulting customers its not a place i will visit again.

Add pissed up thai blokes to that and its somewhere i will let people know to avoid like the plague.
