As for sleep, slept like a baby last night (no booze). Didn't even wake up when Mr NR took the dog out and got ready for work. Feel great now!
You know, they do have internet in Scotland, I've been there and seen for myself.Originally Posted by patsycat

Think I'll be breaking it today. Had some bad news and getting more and more frustrated. If I manage to get through today without some wine, it'll be a miracle.
Well done Spin and hold on NR ,,

Nope, August will be wet.
Get back on the Dry July train!
So far my routine has been swim 1500m everyday and run 5km on a Tues/Thurs/Sat but I'm gutted this morning. Woke up with what feels like a sprained ankle after last nights run. It was raining and I remember a small slip but no pain at the time. Bloody annoying.Originally Posted by Spin

Yeah it should be fine. Hopefully only stops the running for a few days as I was enjoying it.
Done 16 days and was quite chuffed with myself , fucked it up royally last night drinking hot beerlao in savannakhet in Dubious establishments. on the upside all that fruit and veg eating is working, lost 3 kilos, The plan now is to continue drinking COLD beer for the week of and abstain again when i get back to work, will be watching what i eat though, Still got about 17 kilos to shift to get back to my Hansum man status
^ Only the loss of all ones money cancels hansum man status here. Extra kilo's dont seem to enter the equation.
16 days is quite an effort, mate.
As for hot beer, there's a reason I deliberately left the beer in the cupboard vs the fridge... less temptation.
I haven't been running, apart from a couple of games of cricket, so not sure if I've lost any weight or not, suppose I should.
I've lost about 1.5kg in the first week. The Doc has just benched me for 4 days with a sprained ankle though. I was just getting into a good routine too.
Yesterday though I could feel the effects of my Sunday beer session. It added about 10 mins to my swim and 4 mins to my run.
