By coincidence I have started the long road to quit today. One week of no smokes before lunch, then no smokes until finish work and then finish with them.

I have tried the instant quit, can't get past the first week.

I'm smoking and drinking more - just to grind against fashionable and popular convention....

And I'll probably out live all those fucking do-gooders.

Height/weight isnt an indicator of being overweight .
Some people are skinny and some are stocky .
Going by height/ weight alone, someone with the physique of someone like Mike Tyson would be considered to be fat and oberweight

    Yes, it does.

    No, I haven't.

Many Muslims here drink anyway, but not during Ramadhan.

I'm in. Mr NR and I had decided to cut out the booze this month for just that reason, anyway.

I feel the opposite, I find it easier to go without as long as I have a packet around.
I don't feel the same way about pork pies though !

I could, as long as no one pulled the plug on my life support first.

    ^ Sounds good, Patsy, enjoy.
I've just arranged with my boss a shift situation where I can spend roughly 5 days per week with my Mum (some at Mr NR's) (bless my boss & Mr NR) and I intend to enjoy it too. But I'll be feeding her up And no booze

I googled 6 ft 1 into CM and a ten digit figure came out and I just used the first two digits..........and then added the third . The correct figiure was 185.6257362 centimetres...and I just rounded down

And I'm sure she'll love every minute of it. I plan to spoil my mum too, breakfast in bed, all meals cooked. She doesn't have to lift a finger. Its the least i can do, and she's 83. I'm taking some specialities from here that she likes. Even a fondue...

Dont know yet, but other half will be in Edinburgh next week and shall be discussed- Fondue is easy, its the wine with it which makes it go a bit patsylike!!!

You need a spoon with a hole in the middle to be able to stir it properly. Lots of garlic, kirsh, and that stuff called cheese.

    Oh and bread.

So easy i could fly in make a fondue and fly out all in the same day!!! If only to see your shoes!!!
