Thread: Falang or Farang?

Thais that shout 'farang, farang' everytime they see a white man is a bit like walking around London and shouting out 'nigger, nigger' whenever you see a black man.

erm, I believe you would have an extremely short lifespan if you done that in london, well I suppose you might get lucky and just get arrested and put in jail

For an immediate execution,try shouting 'nigger' in Tottenham or Woodgreen area of London.

Long time ago, some white guys came into Thailand and they were French which Thai people can't say the same way as they called themselve then they just called "Fa-rang" instead until now. Whoever are white skin (with color spots), not dark hair, bigger than us (nose/arms/hands/knobs.. oops! etc), speaking whatever languages which are not Thai, hairy body, always sweat in Thailand; We call them "Fa-rang".

Whores or not, we always ignore "r", me too.

It's like you guys also. "Better" -> some say "be-er" or "be-der" hmmm... what else.. ahhh... "Party" -> "Par-dy".

Do not say if it's not true!

We all are lazy in some ways, admit it!

just words to describe a person. i don't find either as offensive.

Usually it's the adjectives added on.
