    Sleep talking

Was a little bored on sunday so said to the GF after we had had a little afternoon nap

"heh, what were you saying about Tomatoes?"

    She looked nonplussed.

"You were saying "No, No, No tomatoes. I don't like. No. No tomatoes". What were you dreaming about?"

Well she wasn't saying that at all, but what started as a bit of fun has developed into her being convinced she sleep talks.

    Does your partner sleep talk?

Apparently I do a bit from time to time.

The day after my Mrs. Dad died, I spoke in Thai in my sleep. We were staying at the MIL's house and they were and still are convinced that it was Por coming to me in my dreams.

The second time was more recently, in my sleep I asked (again in Thai) if someone could come and pick me up. My Mrs. assumes that it I was dreaming about a woman, which despite my protestation was akin to cheating. She wouldn't talk to me for half a day. It has crossed my mind that I should pretend to be dreaming about other women a bit more often. The peace and quiet was heavenly.

The weird thing is that I do remember some dreams, but, they are never in Thai. Why would I sleep-talk in Thai??

I've been known to do it, even calling out some Thai ladies name on one occasion . I got the same half day cold shoulder as Al got. The raging bone-on at the time didnt help

A bit of fun at someone else's expense.

I almost urinated in a girls wardrobe and woke up just in the nick of time. She woke and asked me what I was doing just as I had woken up and was closing the cupboard doors.

You're lucky, I got punched in the head the time I did that.

Which was not a nice way to wake up out of a pleasant dream.

Mark me down in the "in the shit" group. I have long sleep talked, but only with the Thai missus has it go me in the shit.

It is simply amazing the stories she can concoct in her mind from two or three mumbled words made by me when I am asleep.

I get that as well. a few months ago she woke me up by pushing me out of the bed, and after a ding dong packing a day bag and moving to her mums. I had no idea why until she fessed up she dreamed I was sleeping with my ex wife.

I like to remind her that in Thai tradition, if they dream of having money if means they will lose their money. Therefore, if she dreams of me with another girl, she is safe.

Far more satisfying to kick two shades of shit out of her whilst she is sleeping.

It's possible. But why would she then reward me by not talking to me for most of the following day?

I once put a dab of gravy on her sleeping feet as they poked out of the duvet once. The thought was that the dogs would realise at some point in the night and launch a licking attack on her ticklish feet. I made the mistake of telling her what I did though when the operation went as planned. A few nights later I woke up to a something eating something off of my face. the dogs wont get on the bed, but a bloody cockroach sniffing out food will. Not so good.
