Bulldozer to the rescue. In a village close to my girlfriend’s hometown, a 60-year-old American built a 1-million-baht house for his Thai sweetheart. In those parts, where the average family home costs between 300,000 and 500,000 baht, this is pure luxury. Two months later, he found out that his girlfriend kept a much younger Thai lover with whom she enjoyed the good life in his house during his absence. Apparently, he did not waste his time arguing with her. Instead, he rented a bulldozer and drove it right through his house. The police could do nothing because even in Thailand one seems to have the right to drive a bulldozer through one’s home if one pleases to do so. Of course, the land still belongs to his (former, I believe...) girlfriend. But she can’t do anything with it because she doesn’t have the money to clear it from the debris. And the entire region is laughing about her and her lover.
if i had a baht for every time i heard this..Quote:

My views on Clayton...
He came over here and worked for some estate agent in Soi Yamato, he got caught smoking dope so they fired him and he set up on his own, got to admit I never liked the obnoxious git.
both boring.
so he's going after Mangosauce now, fuckknuckle, why doesnt he leave alone
^'Cause he is one, dull, uninteresting mutha fcuker.
Gaults Problem is that he knows about as much about Thailand as I know about Quantum Physics, so all he has to offer is personality attacks. For most of us this gossip magazine shit gets very old very quickly, Where as if Stick Mk11 is steering its focus away from the "Advice for sleaze mongers" to more about Thailand travels i think it will do well.
Is clayton famous?
There will always be people we don't like and whom we feel have done something to us, but to go far enough to publish it on a website is bordering on some mental illness.Quote:

OK so stickman still knows fuck all about web design No margins a wall of words in whit on a black background, I spend too much tie in front of monitor to read that shit, prett sure I'm not missing much.
Then there's John Galt. god the guy's pathetic. he has a run-in with some guy and this is worth an article? sounds like the dude might have had some valid points if we were offered the chance to hear both sides but JG has paid his $10 so he can tell lies, accuse people un-challenged.
Maybe it's the truth, maybe not. Not worth the bother.
If it happened as he said it happened, I think it is fair to publicise it.
If not, aren't there libel laws on the internet?
^CMn - involving Thailand, this is probably the most famous case (defamation)
This may be. But. No venue for rebuttal. And I don't see the big deal. Let me get this right, he met some guy and some guy was an asshole towards him.Quote:

These kind of website entries just get to me, what is he accomplishing? Just comes off as a small and embittered little man. He got stiffed for $150 over five years ago and can't get over it. Guess he's getting even.
Fair? Maybe, Maybe not, who knows (or cares)?
Worthwhile? Hardly.
DD, you know Clayton -- un-f'ing-believable. My story is true. And I don't even think that I exaggerated at all. And like I state in the article, I have no idea what state he is in today.
Helicopter -- my background is in computer engineering and software development. I don't think it's a big deal really. What I do seems easy and I think just about anyone can do what I do. It's a just a bunch of small parts that fit together to make a big part. If you understand all the small parts - the big part is fairly easy.
I am not a journalist - LOL.
tabloid journo in the making thouQuote:

It really would be a better forum if people did not spend so much time talking about other forums.
I reckon there is nothing wrong with talking about other forums. Its the bitter bad mouthing that is bad and maybe i'm one of the worst offenders.:dev+ang:Quote:

Gerbil, All of Clayton's work-force was copied on my aritcle within 24 hours of it's release by someone who read my article. I was blind copied on this. Guess what -- Not a word from them. Clayton poured the ice on that situation. I'm sure not wanting to stir up any other parties whom he also screwed over. We'll probably not be hearing from him. I think it's really doubtful that Clayton would want any press for any legal actions against me from going on the web were it would clearly affect his business. He would be wise to just ignore it because it will go away and not be printed on-line again.
