    Pants or Helicopter?

So It's Christmas soon, the six year old boy is looking forward to a visit from santa, he's been good on occasion so i suppose santas coming. It's a bit difficult to explain why he's coming a couple of days early though, considering the 25th falls on Tuesday but he has to go to school.
I want to get a remote control helicopter (14+ it says on the box but he's prety good with stuff like that.
The missus wants to get him pants.
Which do you think he'd be happier to find in the stocking on Christmas morning?
    (They're nice pants and there's 2 pair).
Personally I hated to get clothes as Christmas gifts.

If he needs pants sometime during the year, I think you'd get him a pair anyway...

As a 6 year old boy I would definitely want the chopper. Come to think if it, as a 38 year old man I would still want the chopper.

Pants are not Christmas presents by themselves. You need to explain to your missus the concept of Christmas presents, and how disappointed children can be if they get something as dicky as pants for a present then. The whole thing about Christmas is that it is SPECIAL. We have encouraged this whole idea in our children, and giving him pants ONLY would be setting him up for major disappointment.....which psychologically is not good in children. I clearly remember getting clothes and useless shit for Christmas.
    I felt betrayed.
Give him pants AND helicopter....even if it goes against your wife's wishes. Just tell her it's a Christmas thing AND a boy thing.

Let the missus buy him the pants and you buy him the helicopter.
Write from whom it is on the packages.
    So, there!

Jeez, you must be on a tight budget if it's 1 or the other. Why not buy both?

If he is naughty then show him the helicopter on youtube, ask him if he wants it for Christmas and then give him Withnallstokes underpants.

Just imagine having you birthday in the same month and your cheap ass relatives hand you your gift and say "here is your B-day and X-mas present" you open the box and there is a pair of pants that are 2 sizes too big for you

    "Oh...you will grow into them"

Get him the helicopter - and i can arrange a swap for my pants.
At 6 years old though, shouldn't he be getting new speedos rather than saggy y fronts?

Getting clothes for christmas was and will always be a travesty.

The helicopter will be the most fun 5 minutes of his life, so go ahead.

Helicopter - Probably smash it in the first day but he will be happy.

Pants - He will hate you for life.

    Your choice.

Fuk off, Jeff. At least he's not a lying, backstabbing weasel with pretensions of Academia.

Better yet, buy him an educational toy.

    See how that goes down.
