Bangkok + London riots (2011) - any similarities?

so how many of you experienced either of these 2 events - and which was the most genuine?

    which had the most cause?

any similarities between the two - and in a nutshell, what were they about?

note: Toby attempts a serious thread (though don't want to rot away in Issues section)

Right wing bigots need not apply to join this discussion, thanks

Issues is a bit quiet for my taste.

come on Andy - set the ball rolling!

How about the UK riots - were they just a forgone conclusion, kind of like a by-product of corporate capitalism?

The London riots were about mostly ethnic youths wanting commodities that they didnt have the money to pay for, so they looted them .
Two photos come to mind : A young Black mother in a looted sports shop with her young son trying sports shoe on .
A young Black woman running out a from pound shop with a looted bag of crisps

Rebellion/insurrection seems to be a tad universal, doesn't it?

Kind of a us vs. them sort of activity.

Revolting against the establishment [real or fantasized] has been the calling of mankind since documented history.

London was just deserts for liberal cowardly Whities trying to pretend that all is well, and brainwashing the world that the savages invading and occuping London are better than original inhabitants.
Thailand was a Thai issue.Keep big noses out of it.

I believe the original inhabitants were savage-like, were they not?

It was the invading cultures that "civilised" the lot.

Ethnic youth, I did actually mean Black youth, but I was being P.C.
The photos were not published in the Daily Mail (not what I know of) and it wasnt propaganda, just facts .
Asians also went out on the streets on the night of the riots , but they went out to protect their neighborhoods from rioters, as Whites

Well, they are both civil unrest , but in Thailand the unrest was about political change and in the U.K. the unrest was solely about theft on a mass scale

theft occurred during the riots for sure, and there were many opportunists no doubt - but the underlying causes were not about theft.

The causes of the London riots were also political, though more indirect than in the Bangkok case.

so what can be done to prevent it from happening again?

Over 50% of those convicted of rioting in the U.K. were from the ethnic minorities

What could be done is to give everyone whatever they wanted , just leave the shops open and let them take whatever they want , open the banks as well, let them take whatever money they wanted, then they wouldnt have to break the law to obtain the things that they want

Well ethnic used to mean someone from that area ,
    however under todays politically correct fascism , indigenous Brits are no longer allowed to have an identity , proud history etc so must not be called ethnic , or even British ;
no they must be referred to as simply white because that infers blandness and nothingness and makes them remember thier place ...

    YES
the Politically correct liberals were all for scum lower race immigration and were forever shouting wonderful ! vibrant !!.....
at least while it just affect the working class Brits, when it spilled over into thier lives , a huge number packed up and left london , to live in more indigenous areas .Could not have thier little children in a school full of Somalians, Nigerians and Pakistanis .

Of course they would never admit the reason they left or that they were wrong .
