    I'd imagine it would've done a fair bit of damage to the driver too.

    According to the cameraman there were no serious injuries (though I would imagine the driver was feeling it the next day)- I bet he was beaten up a bit by the airbag- they deploy with a lot of force (though it beats embedding the steering wheel into you skull).

    As bat-shit crazy as it obviously was, some part of me is actually quite impressed with it all. Whoever it was certainly didn't half-arse it, he was moving when he hit the ramp!

    I can't find a list of the damage (it happened yesterday), but here's another view- he bent it pretty good- the misalignment of the tailgate is a bad sign:
