Its simple does using lots of different fonts, font sizes, underlining, bolding and general font manipulation in text you post make you look like an intellectual heavey weight or a complete loon ranting? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | In the days before computers, one of my dad's responsibilities was going through the post at the BBC and flagging up any allegations of serious errors in news reporting. All letters were read carefully, except those written in green ink. From experience, staff had long ago realized that correspondence in green ink was going to be complete bollocks, and so they could safely be consigned to the bin without any danger of missing anything important. Nowadays, the "green ink brigade" have put away their green biros and crayons. They now use big fonts, underlining and bold. But they remain the green ink brigade in all other respects. Yes, Hamsun and git. This means you.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If when eating your elbows sway about clobbering people , or you splatter food all over the other dinners , that's bad manners ; however if you eat your jam roly poly pudding and custard with your soup spoon that's bad etiquette. As aggressive fonting hurts my eyes it should be banned ![]() |
