Has anyone heard about having to patrol your village at night??

I just found out from my wife that she payed cause I wouldn't have to do it.
She says that the headman has set up a schedule for each male member of the moo to take his turn on patrol.
Supposed to have been a school here in Phetchabun prov. that was burned and this afternoon the govt. passed word that the patrols would begin tonite.

Yes I see many villages starting to do this now and closing the village off at night with gaurds checking people coming in and out. There have been a couple of houses broken into last month in our village and they managed to catch a couple of them which were suppose to be part of a large gang working the area
