    Falling off the wagon

After an impressive 75 days free of booze, I decided to imbibe a few last night.

It was actually much more difficult than I thought because the girls in the pub were saying how much better and fitter I looked since they last saw me.

It was only after they had run out of diet coke that I ordered a bottle of singha.
It tasted different... not bad so i had a few more and met up with SBF before his family dragged him away.

Was quite pissed after no more than quite a few bottles.

    I'm not impressed.
This morning I have my first headache in months, far less money than I would have had in my wallet and I didn't enjoy the drunk sensation as much as I thought I used to.

It is far more fun to be totally lucid and clear minded.

I'm not setting limits here but I'm glad to have found out that I'm not missing out on anything at all and don't think I'll bother again in a hurry.

I need a new bad habit.
Anyone got any decent designer drugs?

Could there be a relation between you being pissed and his family dragging him away ?

sounds fun, but I sure am glad that after 25+ years I have people I know that will go out, come back and tell me how much fun it is to get your head fucked up.

Keep it up and then I will not have to.

drinking after stopping a long time is always a disappointment

but the good news is that it only takes a few binge to make it fun again

you are not missing anything at all Blackgang.

I guess I was missing my social life and I saw a few people that I hadn't seen for a while.
Good mates that I feel guilty for avoiding.
The pub has little allure for me these days though.

    I bloody well won't.
    I have learnt self control.

I can't see what you drinkers get out of it at all.
Should be made illegal and pubs swapped with designer drug shops that make you feel happy and good and warm and don't give you a headache.

75 days - well done! I thought the missus would have been pretty proud of you for kicking it for that long - why was she angry?

CMN, get yourself to a doctor & get him to put you on something. Please don't get yourself caught in the booze trap again. When you are sober you are a hell-of-a-nice guy - really. Give yourself a chance, mate.

All the very best as you work your way forwards & upwards.

going to the doctor and getting put on something??
sound like a fucked up idea to me, besides it wont work anyway,, if you want to drink then you will drink and drinking behind antibuse can damn sure kill you, the only thing that works is just do not drink.
if you do not have the first one then you damn sure cant get drunk.

Don't bring too much money with you when you go out (say a few hundred baht). When you're out of money, you go home - easy as that.
