    Fly Singapore to Darwin, 200baht

Tiger flies for 44 baht S'pore-Bangkok

Singapore (dpa) - Tiger Airways has launched 1.99 Singapore dollar (43.84 baht, $1.30) seat sales to three Thai cities in a promotion lasting until January 31, 2008, the low-cost carrier said on Sunday.

The 1.5 million seats available for "early bird saver" fares to selected destinations are one-way and exclude taxes.

The fares apply "even for festive year-end holidays" if passengers book months in advance of their flight departure dates, said chief marketing officer Rosalynn Tay in a statement.

A 5.99-Singapore-dollar (132 baht, $3.94) fare is available to Bangkok and Chiang Mai, 8.99 Singapore dollars (198 baht, $5.91) to Darwin, Australia and 9.99 Singapore dollars (220 baht, $6.57) to the Indonesian city of Padang.

Singapore Airlines-backed Tiger currently flies to six cities in Thailand, two in Vietnam, four in China, one in Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia and Singapore. The carrier is scheduled to start its Perth route on March 23.

I thought flying was meant to be for the wealthy.

Would you want to sit on a plane filled with paupers?

I know, it's as bad as going into a bar and finding it full of English Teachers.

If you have tried to get one of these cheap promotions you will find hens teeth more easily obtainable. End of last year I tried to find two childrens seats to Aust as I had a Free FF on quntas. In the end was cheaper to buy 1 adult and 2 kids seats on Brunei than only two childrens seats on jetstar or another "dscount" airline.
While Jetstar were advertising cheap flights, I just couldn't obtain them.

Royal Brunei is a crappy airline but over the last few years I have used them often, and they can actually supply cheap tickets. Only problem you have to have a stopover for a couple of hours in Brunei. Its got to be the most boring airport in the world, you cannot even buy a beer
The only entertainment is watching all the well dressed Ozzie sex tourists on their way to Patt's to unload their wrinked old scrotums on some skank.

Now that you mention it, there was this bucket shop in Chinatown I went to a few years ago where the vendor bore a striking resemblance to a panting rottweiler.

Coincidence you say? I say there are none.
