^^We call it what it actually is. Gelatin. Jell-O has become a commonly used name derived from one of the earliest brands
    Jam Has fruit
    Jelly has none.
Gelatin is a desert made from the hooves of skanky, ol' mules, I think.
    There's always room for Jell-O
For people that invented the language you sure seem kinda limited in teh use of it. jeesh!

    Oh my goodness.

All my life I have always wondered how the hell you would eat a pb and jelly sarny because as thrtyim mentioned jelly to me is the wobbly stuff you eat for desert.

Why don't you just call it a pb and jam sandwich...doesn't seem so excotic now

Remember, these are the people who call vacuuming "Hoovering". If we want to call gelatin, "Jell-O", we will.

And, I believe, it is only the lower classes who actually put jelly on their PB&J sandwiches. In my house it's always jam or preserves with home made peanut butter and whole wheat bread!

However, the classic PB&J is probably Skippy peanut butter and Welch's grape jelly on Wonder Bread.

Granma would stick one of them in my paw whenever I mewled about hunger pains. Although I do enjoy a good chunky peanut butter with proper jam or preserves, memories of those sandwiches keep me from becoming an addict.

Crumbly cheddar, ripe tomatoes and fresh farmhouse bread makes a proper sarnie.

Peanut butter & 'jelly' is trailer trash food!!

Sourcream and Onion Crisps and cheddar cheese on soft wholemeal. Fold it over in your hand so the crisps break.

The contrast between the crisps and the softness of the cheese and the wholemeal is fantastic, and the sourness of the sourcream plays off great against the saltiness of the cheese.

Soon in a trailer, near you.

Well seeing as farangs cannot buy land I think there could be a market for quality trailers here.

Someone has just started selling CamperVans here but they are firmly in the vacation section not the live in type.

I think that one of the reasons "mobile homes" are so popular in the US is that they escape the normal building codes that are applied to more permanent structures. Plus, they're taxed in most states as vehicles rather than as real property. Those two factors combined keep the initial purchase price down and the yearly property taxes at a minimum.

^ More is better. With healthy doses of lard to help lubricate the launch tube. Then, save yourself up for a big one. Evacuate the house, warn the neighbours, open the windows and let it rip.
