You all live incredibly exciting lives. I've never so much as been threatened with a harsh word....This could be down to my habit when meeting strangers of lying down on my back and raising my arms and legs in the air in an act of immediate and complete submission. I'm a great believer in the adage that a coward lives to run away another day.

My dogs were killed by my neighbour about 3 months ago.

When i confronted him and threatened him he went inside and came out with a gun.
I ran inside and called the police while he screamed obsenities about me being a foreigner who didn't belong here.
    I shit myself.
We had to wait around 20-30 minutes for the police to arrive, all the while he is rattling the gun along my front gate and my dogs are dying and i can't even go outside to be with them.

When they arrived he shot off on his bike and came back gunless.
the police accused me of threatening him and lacking evidence.

It was 2 weeks before i moved back.
I'm still here, he's still there.

I know Willy, but where does it end.
    certainly not well for anyone.

I had plenty of advice including from board members that knew about my problem, nearly all of it was sound and well received.
It could have been far worse.

One of the main reasons I object to guns full stop is that over the weeks after it happened and with loads of alcohol inside me i couldn't say for sure that i wouldn't have used it. Not for 100% sure anyway.
It's a pity that the playing field isn't level when you are living in this lawless society.

Now that a little time has gone by, it is time to make your move. Rent a motor bike and get a pair of stockings ( Borrow from butterfly) then wait around the corner and follow the fucker out of the neighbor hood. Wait till he gets in a nice spot where not many round and roll up on him and beat the piss out of him. When your done make him strip down to his shorts and ride off with his clothes. --- a wack on the feet with a hammer seems appropriate for a goodbye jester

CNM, "plan, plan, plan plan, plan." Keep saying this mantra to yourself until it starts sounding like "prwam, prwam, prawm, prawm." Then you will be ready.

    Hmm, what to do?

Well if someone pulls a gun on you there are several options, most probaly they are only trying to scare you as otherwise they would of shot you already. So the responce would depend on many issues.

Do you know them ?, how well ? do they have a history of violance? do they have anything to loose ? do they care? whats their mental state (angry/agitated or calm), are you close enough to actually do anything and prepared to to do it along with the possible consequenses, how are they holding the gun.

If someone knows what he's doing then the chances are you wont be close enough to do anything, even if you are close enough you run the risk of the gun going off or startling the other guy into taking a shot. Generally I'd say stay calm and non-threataning, do things slowly you don't want to provoke someone just trying to scare you into doing something stupid.

If he's a knob, has'nt a clue, your close enough and you're physic'ed up you might decide to go for it. Whatever you do has to be done quick and hard, you've got to get inside the gun and dissable the other guy.

I've always prefferd a knife myself a 2.5 inch self opening knife can be carried around comfertably in a pocket, conceled in the palm of the hand until opened at the touch of a button, you're unlikly to kill anyone by accident with one but they would sure spoil someones day. If your too far away to use a knife then your to far away to do anything anyway.

As far a CMN's prob in the cold light of the day, after all the adrenilin has stoped pumping, he'd have to consider killing the guy, is it worth it what has he got to lose ( life, liberty, family ect). If he decided is worth it then do it him self or hire out. Doing it yourself is probalmatic, in town you'd need access to the target, method of killing, an aliby and the will to actulay kill someone in cold blood. Drive by motorcycle shooting sound about the best bet, fullface helmet, unregistered bike, jeans, long sleve shirt and gloves to hide the skin colour. Youd have to study him for a bit to try and find any routine and a good place to do it.

Hireing someone well leves lots of whitnesses, you don't know how competent they are ect although it would probaly be cheaper than having to find yourself a gun, motor bike ect.

Around here houses are well spaced out it would be a lot easier in some respects, dogs would be the biggest problem. A guy up the road got hit a few months back, apparently a pick-up pulled up outside his house and a load of guy's sat up in the back and opened up with automatic rifles, you could see the holes in his wall the next day. The cops are clueless or paid for number 1 suspect was a cousin of ours who owed the guy millions, rumor has it it cost 3-400,000 for the hit
