Sounds sensible to me, just what I'd do if I was to employ people in Thailand, or run funfairs with a motley crew of unreliable off-beats.Originally Posted by The Gentleman Scamp

Bet you all have hands that do dishes.
The funfair worker stereotype is nowhere near as rife as that of western men who live in Thailand or frequent Thai expat forums, and I have defended the latter on a number of occasions so less of the snide comments please, how somebody earns a crust and where it puts them in terms of status should only be an issue to stuck up adolescents.
In fact status should only be an issue to the completely stupid.
Anyway, I quit again for third time and they really don't seem to want me to go so they have given me a weeks holiday to eat some proper food and get some decent sleep.

My advice: Just keep movin' straight ahead. Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

How can I get a job on a fun fair then?
^ Does it sound that appealing?
You don't really need an education if that's what you are implying, as long as you can speak English and are not blind and have a very high endurance to long hours, heat, and general poor treatment.
I'll need to up my funds soon.
Do they have any more events planned?
I'm genuinely interested in how you go about getting work there.Originally Posted by The Gentleman Scamp
Why don't they employ HK nationals?
They cost too much and are protected by employment laws.Originally Posted by mrsquirrel
