You just need to Google, or any search engine RUSSIAN BRIDE SCAMS
Very very scary horror accounts of mainly U.S.A male victims.
Now I am not smug,I too joined a Russian "Moscow Marriage" agency and yes I experienced my own cold iron curtain female entrapment. Liars and thieves, they pull the same feminine tricks woman all over the world pull, pull the wool over your eyes. Buyer beware.
I don't want to reveal too much as some of the tricks and Russian lies Pattaya angels are yet to learn.

Asianbeauties.com is not a scam, in itself, but they make money from fraudulent 'agencies' and do little to correct this. They can pass the buck....'it's not us who scammed you.'
Other sites do the same thing, including 'russian' sites and other Asian sites.

The fraud by the 'agencies' can range from 'bait and switch', where they use fake profiles to lure the man to China, then tell him 'that girl changed her mind, here is other girl interested in you' to just racking up commissions from Asianbeauties for chats, profiles, videos, and other services.

If you don't think there is money to be made in this, here is the current fee schedule Asianbeauties pays 'agencies'.

No registration fee to become our Affiliate Partner!
Register 50-100 ladies on AsianBeauties.com and earn $10,000 per month and even more!

If you have 10 Ladies who use Live Chat at least 1 hour per day,you can earn up to 500 USD per week, 2,000 USD per month.
With 50 active ladies you can earn more that 10,000 USD per month.
The more profiles you have the higher your income: up to 60,000 USD
    • from US$6,000 for Live Chat,
    • from US$3,000 for email correspondence,
    • from US$1,500 for flower and gift delivery,
    • from US$700 for the "video view" service.
You’re onto a winner with AsianBeauties as you’ll receive commission for almost every action your Ladies perform onsite:
    • $1.50 for every letter you translate!**
    • $2.50 for each lady’s profile you upload***
    • An average $80 for each flower delivery
    • $250 for each success story with photos that you send in to us
This is from an email they send out to prospective 'agencies'.

Some of the agents are actually storefront marriage agencies in mid-sized Chinese cities. There may be some real ladies as clients, like the lady mentioned in the original post.
It's probably more common that the lady you think you are chatting with, is not real. You're chatting with somebody who is getting paid to chat with you.
THe payouts are high enough it's worthwhile for an agency to pay some college student or other person, to communicate with you, pretending to be the pretty/sexy lady in the pictures.

Here's more from the new agency instructions.

    1) After registering you, we’ll send you your login and password to DELETED. On this website you’ll find the work rules and FAQs, which you should read. We’ll also send you all the instructions by mail.
    2) Your first task will be uploading ladies’ profiles to our site. We advise you to upload first at least 10 profiles. Each profile should contain ladies’ photos, their contact information (it will be available only to administrators of the site, not to the men) and their presentations (the letter in which a lady introduces herself). After we check and activate 10 profiles, we’ll send you 200$. If you upload 40 more profiles, we’ll send you 800$. So, 1000$ is our welcome bonus. Besides, for each profile we pay you 2.5$.
    3) After activation of the profiles, our system begins to send the ladies’ presentations to the men automatically. For each presentation which will be read by a man, you’ll be paid 1.5$.
    4) If a man answers a lady’s presentation, you’ll see it on the site as “Hello Note”. You should answer this Hello Note. All the letters should be long (not less than 10 full sentences), contain the reaction on the man’s profiles. For each received and sent letter (except Hello Notes) you’ll be paid 1.5$.
    5) The ladies can send their letters to the men to you by mail. They can also send them through their personal account on DELETED. The ladies can login this site and see all the men’s letters (which you already translated into English if necessary) in “Inbox”. There ladies can answer the letters. After they answer, these letters will arrive at your account on DELETED, where you should translate them and send to the men.
    6) On DELETED we also provide you with our service Live Chat, where ladies can chat with men online. If one lady is chatting with one man during one minute, we pay you 0.12$ for each minute. If a lady uses web-camera, we pay you 0.24$ for each minute. Lots of our partners earn several thousands of dollars every month only for Live Chat!
    7) You can upload ladies’ videos to our site. For each video we pay 20$. Every lady can have several videos.
    8) If a man wants to make a present to a lady, you should buy it and deliver to her. We’ll pay you for the gift and for the delivery.
So, there is money to be made, and you really don't need to have any real ladies.

Another "chinese' network of dating sites operates in this mode, chnlove.

Guys, there's no reason to be paying for in-house translations, there's too much fraud involved. WTF are you going to do with a lady you can't communicate with, anyway. OK, other than 'that', what are you going to do?

With all the real ladies in se asia who hope to land a farang, for whatever reasons, there's no reason to waste time and money on a site like this.

On the large free sites, you have to wade through the masses of scammers to find a real lady, but you still have to do the same thing on any paid site.

You need to learn how to detect these fakes, protect yourself, and don't send money to somebody you only know from the internet.

At least the english should be a little better. ^^^

Asian ladies with studio pics, boobs strategically supported and peeking out, and the skin tone photoshopped to almost a geisha level, seems to punch the buttons of the guys.

It depends on what you are looking for?

On any of the 'free' sites, you have to be careful.

One legit site that keeps scammers out, but will seem boring, since the ladies are actually real, is datingmore.com - dating more Resources and Information. This website is for sale!

    They have some Asian ladies.

If you're looking for younger, trashier, more excitement, you can try the big sites like dateinasia, maybe findloveasia.
farangdate doesn't seem so bad, but I see some fake pictures there.

If you use a big free site, you're going to have to be prepared to do some screening.
Check the pictures to see if they are stolen, demand to see a face on cam, keep the age gap reasonable, and never send money for any reason.

If you are looking for something too young, too sexy, and they are in too much of a hurry....you're kind of on your own.

Or you could walk down the street with a smile on your face and a twinkle in your eye.
This dating site, that dating site.
Just ask some girl you meet at the bank, or supermarket for a date.

A lot of guys who aren't in Asia, have some form of fantasy about Asian ladies, and look online.

The fantasy is partially fueled by too young filipinas pouncing on them at dating sites.

    'I don't care you 64. I like mature!!'

the site I was trying to suggest is http://datingnmore.com

    I left out the 'n'.

Jiaolei(Laura) is a scammer on that site - be careful

I personally feel it's important to start naming names so that we all know who the "bad" ones are, who the fake people are on that AB website.

The name on the profile said "Jiaolei(Laura)" and her "interview" page noted that her nickname is "Lala." Since I speak fluent Chinese and can type Chinese, I thought I had a chance to meet a real lady there.

I typed, "Your name is very nice. It sounds lovely."

Her response: "Really? You mean my Chinese name?"

    I replied: "Your name Lala."

    "Lala? What does that mean?"

    "Your interview page said that."

"Laura? Lala? Are they the same thing?"

"No, your interview page said that."

"Oh, yeah, haha. I thought you meant Laura and Lala have the same meaning. I guess I'm not that smart."

THAT should have been a red flag right there. How can someone not know her own nickname? I overlooked that, and then I continued chatting with her for 20 minutes before I had to attend a work meeting.

Later on, when I logged into my account, I saw SEVENTEEN letters from her--all on that same day. Each letter costs 10 credits to open, and she was basically saying the same things in each of those letters, garbage like "It was so nice to chat with you," "where are you now? I don't see you online," "let's chat online again soon. i'm waiting for you," etc. Her letters were all at least 2 paragraphs long but essentially said the same thing. The other red flag was that each of the photos she attached was titled "s" or "ss." Who does that? (All of the photos are different pictures but each one is titled "s" or "ss.")

Ultimately, I got on the chat system again and explained to her in Chinese, in her own language, that I would order a phone call so that we could exchange contact information. I explained, clearly, that this letter system and chat system wouldn't work because of the heavy costs. She agreed to do it. And yet the next day she sent me another FOURTEEN letters on that website.

After we spoke on the phone through the AB system--I didn't need a translator since I spoke Chinese but still the phone call was pricey--she sent me an email. One sentence. That was it. So, in the letters through that site she sent at least 1-2 paragraphs. In this email she sent 1 sentence. Obviously she is sending form letters through that website. And then soon enough she sent more letters through that website. And I see her online on that website every single day. She is also on there for very strange hours every day. I sometimes do meetings with bosses in China so I am familiar with the time difference. I see her online on that website from 11 pm to 7 am or so China time. That is a major red flag. This means Jiaolei(Laura) is not a real lady. She is either a slut or someone paid to chat with men online. There is a lot more to this Jiaolei(Laura) but I want to tell you these points for now to let you all know not to be tricked by her. She is definitely a scammer. Avoid her at all costs.

Match.com say it's free but then they want you to pay and subscribe just so you can read an email or see who's profile's looked at yours. That's a con.
