  | Premiership wages. If you think premiership players are overpaid, you might like to have a look at this. Found some interesting stuff regarding the wages of footballers in England since 1984-85 up to last years wages. As a comparrison, the authors have included a column on average take home pay, which really puts this into some perspective. Note the NB at the foot of the table.
