doesnt really matter if the williams sisters have been on the pace or not.to go all the way and win any major in the world is a great achievement.

Typically she felt safe with the home crowd supporting her over a clear violation.

She demeened herself, not for the first time mind you, and i suspect having been issued a warning in 2009 regarding her conduct then she may find herself on the end of a suspension. It's bad enough to witness that sort of behaviour in any earlier round match but in the final?

I must add that it is quite surprising how many promising tennis players actually manage to graduate from the John McEnroe school of diplomacy and charm

I think the stroppy cow was given a suspended 2 year ban for similar behavior, it expires tomorrow.

Well done to the Aussie girl.
