Thread: Prem League Fantasy Football 2011/12 season.

I'll be frank last week was my first try at this fantasy lark and as a rookie it showed,
4 players with no points in the team

but now, a week later, I'm a hardened pro
I just revamped my team
and what a team !! bought rooney -but he's on the bench -for another transfer Aguero,
snapped up Woodgate for a pittance, in fact I seem to have lost the 3 Liverpool players and gained 3 stoke ones, oh well.


now looking forward to Saturday ,and then the nailbiting 5 day wait wait till the points are dished out ....

Well, i didn't get my wildcard back, think that applied to people who used it prior to the announcement

I think that concentrating on defenders for max points is good advice,
but I cannot help myself and may have done the schoolboy error of splashing all my money on strikers, leaving me with Stoke, Bolton and Newcastle defenders, but still, I can see myself topping the table this week,
here's how
I'll play my 3 Stoke lads,who will thump Norwich, Woodgate as captain scores a header from a corner..

Has the head to head league being abandoned in all the chaos ?

I have a master plan to regularly buy players in whichever team is playing QPR.

1. Q: How will having unlimited transfers until the Gameweek 2 deadline effect the game?
   
   A: All record of transfers will be removed at the Gameweek 2 deadline (11:30 BST on Saturday 20th August 2011). You will start Gameweek 2 with no transfers or points deductions recorded. If you have already played your wildcard it will be reset.
   Transfers will not effect player price changes until after the Gameweek 2 deadline.

Can't, we can only see your old team....you haven't wild carded at week 2 have you?

Well I kept my QPR players; or should that be that I still have 3 QPR players having changed one for another. But then if you look at my team you'll see that I'm in the QPR global league so you should be able to work out that I'm a fan - & used to all the pantomimes, drama, soap operas or whatever you want to call it. Hopefully Tony Fernandes coming to the club will see me need to change players - as in he'll stump up the cash for some gooduns.

Given the 4-0 last week I guess I'm happyish with 45 points

I forgot to change my team.

the games have started but i cannot log in -it's updating
what a shower.....

anyway i applied my planet sized brain to the team and made 12 changes

I have made major changes to my team which now sports absolutely no QPR or Swansea players. I shot them. Seems I'm not the only one although I don't know how they found the 169 bodies that fast.

I've added another Norwich player and with the points bias in favour of defenders John Terry has joined the squad.
