^apparantly the Froggie coach asked if Richie could meet them(he is a big AB fan)....couple of hours before they played turkey no less!

Meeting Viera was obviously not that riveting, Richies almost asleep on his feet.

I was a pontypridd fantic, hardly missed a game home or away from 1975 till i moved away in 1998.
I was devastatd enough when they merged with bridgend as the warriors, but was willing enough to give the concept time.
At least they embraced the regional concept, like the ospreys.
No way am i going to ever support a team called the cardiff blues that play in cardiff and wear a cardiff top, whether or nt ponty officially comes under the blues region.

I wish the ospreys all the best and hope they become the most succesful region. A few ex ponty boys up there, Morgan, Parker, Cockbain.

i agree with all but the last part of your post. i think potentially he really does have the ability but he's been listening to the wrong people and believing his own publicity instead of training, training, training. at club level he's impressive, but i'm not sure he's adjusted to the international game - it's one heck of a step up. his vision is seriously lacking and i have to question his bottle.

and btw, i am no-one except me. not a fake, not an eddie evans (private joke i guess) - just me.

bridgend - now there's a club that's spawned some players. made me sad that clubs had to merge regionally.
if you're still interested in welsh rugby, keep an eye out for a 7 called jamie harris who's just signed for the dragons. barely 20 but potentially magnificent. he's played a lot of sevens but is looking good. had his debut against moody in the cup game against leicester, got bloodbinned then sinbinned. welcome. the other lad worth looking at is another bridgend boy, mathew hillman (colin's son). a devastating 7, really unlucky to have been injured at national selection time 2 years running.

Ermmm...no...I am a Cardiff Blues supporter as far as any support goes, frankly I support all Welsh teams as mainly their games are against non welsh teams. I care not that much if Cardiff win or lose as long as the games in Wales is progressing.

I was a Cardiff supporter between 1975 and 1981 when i left Wales. Bob pemberthy against Ian Robinson...those were the days.
