Gonna be an intteresting series, though getting Freddie fit is gonna be critical. Thankfully Harmison has started to show some form, but Jones the Fast will be another big loss along with Vaughan.

That said, Cook looks like he has the temperement, Bell has come along nicely and genuine competition for the wicketkeepers job is healthy.

Gonna be a good series, but I fancy australia to win it.....hope the UBC package is available again....oops...my UBC is illegal....I won't be able to order it.....SHIT!!!

Recruiting more Indians & Pakistanis into the lineup might help.

I think Jones is going to be fit from the third test onwards, but we will have it wraped up by then.

    Did I predict that?

The Poms have no chance of retaining the Ashes. They might win a game against Tasmania 'A' but that'll be about it.

    Have to agree 100% here.

They will struggle, still, nothing like talking up a team that is going to get done.

Don't forget half the team are infact aussies

There is no chance of England winning.

No chance at all and I will put money on it with anyone silly enough to take me on.

In that case i assume that you'll be quite happy to give me....what shall we say 1000/1, 100/1?....i tell you what, even though they've apparently got no chance at all, i'll be even fairer to you. If you give me 10/1 i'll match as much as you like.

And there was me thinking that you just said that you were prepared to bet that England have no chance at all. I must have been imagining things, or maybe you're not as confident as your original proposition made you sound.

    We're number 3 actually.

    1 Australia 130Pts
    2 Pakistan 120Pts
    3 England 113Pts

Nice to know we've beaten the top two recently.

Actually, that table appears to be out of date.

We should be second after beating the Pakis.

I might be wrong but you won't get to number 2 even if England beats us Pakis.
