Not quite the spectacle of rugby I was hoping for.

Australian defence allowed to play offside a lot of the game, didn't make for a classic Barbarians game. Thankfully there were other things to keep the interest level up like the SBW vs Mortlock encounters, McAlister maybe doing enough to get back in the ABs following the high injury count in the AB centres.

But Aus looking good for their first game. Their kicking game was absolutely brilliant, Mortlock looking as classy as ever, the Git was on form (though some of his runners were blatently in front of his kicks). Looking forward to the 3N this year.

And the Barbarians had a strong side as well.

    Great result!

Interesting to see Sony Bill Williams an ex Sydney Rugby League star running around playng Union. Great player and I wonder if he will make it into the All Blacks side.

When Henry was asked that, reportedly he laughed. The guys only had a handful of rugby games. Maybe in the future.
