the Jakarta bintangs have a rule, if anyone mentions the results while at the pub watching the game, they are required to buy a barrel of beer as way of a fine.

I was watching a game in a bar in Nong Khai once and rang my mate up to get the final score and got a bet on with the Aussie manager.
Never made him pay though, just a laugh.

I saw it in the online edition of the Adelaide paper. I haven't had the Australia Network for a couple of years now, they changed the frequency of the signal and I don't know how to tune it in.
If I feel like watching the footy I get my 2004 Grand Final DVD out.

They don't seem to like to work in the cold weather... we don't get many north of Chiang Mai. It's hard to get them to leave the comfort zone of the city as well, I think they're scared of the Akha.

Nice to see more rules being introduced, makes me feel like I'm back on ThaiVisa.

I used to hang out with some Poms when I was a lad. Their old man wouldn't have the TV on in the house before "Match of the Day" in case the News let the results slip.
