I really like all sports but find almost all American sport to be designed around commercial breaks and razzamatazzzzzzzzzzz.

Tried to watch all of their sports and understand most of the rules but the stops and time outs that happen consistantly does my head in.

The only thing that keeps me awake is when the cheer squad girls come out and to fill the gaps.

Yep, I agree - there are parts of all American sports that I can appreciate but it can get pretty boring thats for sure.

Just the way it goes unfortunately. Could say the same about decisions in Football or any other sport for that matter. I do think video evidence should be used in some sports though. It works in Rugby so what no Cricket and Football.

    Cricket is a great game.

With the ball travelling at almost 100 miles per hour I find it almost unbelievable that the umpires get it right most of the time.

Also with the technology that they have today why wouldn't they use it and with regard to close call or unsure decisions. They do for run outs, (freeze frames) so I cannot see why they don't use the technology (at almost instantaneous offer) and for other decison making.

Well there is an arguement that it will slow the game down. But it's cricket FFS, it's not like it's the fastest sport in the world.

They could have a decison within 30 seconds I am sure.

Two or three close decisons during the course of a day and allow each team the option of challenging the umpire decision/ or lack of decision no more than 5 times and during the course of the 5 day test.

^ The natural progression to that would be that the umpires sometimes get it wrong so why not use technology to check every appeal. Take the two umpires off the field, have one watching the replay, one on the snickometer and the other on the thermometer. A better decision but not as quick as an umpire in the field dismisses a stupid appeal as happens quite often.

To limit the number of formal video replay appeals to 1 per day would cut out a lot of the bad decisions and keep the game flowing IMO.
