Rugby Union. Mighty Wales trounce Aussies.

actually 21-18, but that scoreline flattered the Aussies who were pretty much outplayed in every department.

nice to see at least one of the home nations showing some balls throughout these autumn internationals.

No mention of the Grand Slam by the All Blacks without conceding any second half tries...now that's well done...

exactly, one eyed rabble rousing dwarf, he is.

I have a good mind to report this thread for being delicately inflammatory.

very well done considering how their squad has been denuded since last year.

Well done Wales, a deserved win. I am also happy to report that SA won the Dubai 7's - beat England 19-12 in the final.

Who scored a first half try against the All Blacks?

I was on a boat last night and only got to see the second half of Wales Australia without sound in the pub.

Other than the lapse at the end our defence looked very solid and andy powell looks like the find of the decade for us. Big ball carrying number 8 is what we've lacked for a long time, and he side steps like Barry John n'all...

Didn't see the game but it was described as a thriller on the Rugby web site and if that is so it takes two to tango.

Well done to the Welsh and I note they also showed good form in the first half against the Blackies as well.

Regarding the aussies, I went through their team personel last night and hardly recognized anyone (and when compared to a year ago) which is a good thing.

Although a loss ia a loss I believe their tour so far has been satisfactory and they can only get stronger.

That was no tries period, innit?

Anyways missed the Wales game, don't think they had it on SuperSport? Pity as I was looking forward to it (with some justification given the result). If any of the NH teams were going to pull one back it was Wales. The others were - all too predictably - put to the sword again.

Yup, DSTV. There's a few people around that offer, shall we say, semi-legit feeds.

I've got it too, but I have a direct subscription to/with DSTV/M-Net. If you've got family back home it's easy enough to organise, all you need is an address to register in SA or Zim, a decoder and a C-Band card.

Well done Wales for not letting the side down like the other home nations did, especially England who have been bloody awful.

Interesting, in fact this is something I have been thinking of doing when I go back at the end of the year. So you are saying that if I go back and register and get the decoder and card there are people here (I live just outside of BKK) who will provide the dish, installation and setup?

I'm in Chaing Mai so can't guarantee anything for BKK but yep, that's pretty much how it worked here. I just called them and they came and hooked it all up for me (I already had the dish).

That being said there are bars with DSTV in BKK so obviously someone there knows how to set-up/install it all. If you can't find someone yourself you could always ask them to put you onto someone - the guy at Wall Street would probably help with that.

    [edit]

The most important thing you need is the C-Band card; the dish and decoder you can get easily enough here (although if you go with the same way I did it you'll be given a decoder in SA anyways).

interestingly enough, had Wales beaten Aus by the 15 points they should have done, they would have leapfrogged Argentina to be seeded 4th for the world cup draw which takes place later today.

would have been nice to avoid being in a group with the bug 3.

As it is, we have to settle for 5th and that could see us in a group with New Zealand and Scotland.
