some would argue that you were the farther of the greatest player in the modern game.

Woods overwhelmed by loss of father

    By Peter Dixon
TIGER WOODS was in mourning last night after the death of his 74-year-old father, Earl, at his home in Cypress, California. Woods, who said last month that he was going to stop playing for a while to spend more time with his dying father, said on his website: “My Dad was my best friend and greatest role model. I will miss him deeply.

Tiger was a good kid, this is the first time I have seen the Thai in him. He announced a couple of weeks ago he would not play until he had spent this last time with his Dad.
I hope to hell my kids do the same damn thing.

Highest paid sportsman in the world, married to a gorgeous woman, and a good kid as I said.

I have to disagree with you on this one AO...

it's amazing how people forget their roots...

Earl was a military man visiting Thailand on R&R...

she became his wife in never-to-be-mentioned circumstances...

they drove their kid to excel in what they wanted...not what he wanted...and all-too-briefly they enjoyed the fortune spawned by their spawn...

Trying to make her out to be a 'gorgeous woman' is akin to making Princess Di to be a 'Mother Theresa'
