The Bangkok International Softball League (BISL) is pleased to announce that the 16th Annual Bangkok International Softball Tournament will be held November 21-23, 2007, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The tournament will feature 20 teams with over 300 athletes from Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, The Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Germany, Kuwait, Beijing, Shanghai, and Thailand. Additionally, hundreds of spectators will be attending the event.

This year's format will be Round Robin leading into a Double Elimination bracket with everyone reaching for the Grand Championship trophy. This means that all teams will be at their competitive best and provide great entertainment for all.

Times: Friday, November 21, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday November 22, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 23November 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Championship game to be held on Sunday at 14:00 p.m.

Location: The 2008 tournament will be held at the Queen Sirikit 60th Anniversary Stadium, the main venue for the 1998 Asian Games softball events, located next to the Rajmangkala Institute at Klong 6, about km 13 east of Future Park, on the Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road, Hwy 305. Two trophies to be awarded the winners: the Grand Championship trophy and the Governor's Cup. This year's format will give everyone plenty of opportunity to go home with a trophy.

All fans are welcome free of charge. Tournament T-shirts, food, soft drinks and beer will be available.

NOTE: The food concessions will be hosted by ROADHOUSE BBQ, those folks down on the corner of Rama IV & Surawong, providing a grand feast of ribs and other interesting foods. Come out and enjoy!
