    Golf in Uttaradit

Played today at the 2nd Cavalry regiment GC in Uttaradit.

A small 9 hole, 6692 yds course on the edge of town. They are currently extending the course to 18 holes.

Simple Clubhouse, good Caddies - 200 for 18 holes, 140 for Caddy, 250 for a Cart.

If you are coming from CM, at the first set of lights (where the Big Sword and Pineapple monuments are) turn right and then left after 50m. The course is about 1km on your right as you head into Uttaradit.

Now when I get upgraded I can attach the pics.

    Course Op

Greens excellent, very reseptive. Don't try to bump n run, the fringe will grab everything.
Bunkers, well maintained, and unlike some courses - these had sand in them and not stone chippings!!
Couple of holes, 1,3,6,7 had water, but not a real problem if you played for position from the tee.

What about out of bounds areas? The 9 hole course I play on has out of bound on one or both sides of 7 holes and water on 7 (1-7).

    OB

Right of the 1st - the main road. Also internal OB's along the 5,6, and 9th. But no real problem as the F'ways are wide enough.

Now to study the pic upload page - whatelse to do at 03.00 ??

Read the tutorial. Can't seem to get the copy image location box to appear. So here they are, just cut copy paste mode.

Approach to the 4th. That is one b****y big tree.

    New holes underway.

    Par 3, 4th.

Tee on the 3rd, par 5, second over water to a small green

Small driving range. Only neg comment - need to repair the nets as the end of the range is next to the 1st tee !

1st, par 5. OB along the right, water 100 yds from the green. Nice way to start the day !
