    Go Wallabies!

    any bets?

    Wallabies shake-up for Tri-Nations

WALLABIES coach Robbie Deans has dumped Timana Tahu and Tatafu Polota-Nau for Saturday night's Tri-Nations rugby decider against the All Blacks in Brisbane.
Deans today made five changes in the wake of Australia's record 53-8 loss to South Africa in Johannesburg 10 days ago, with Tahu and Polota-Nau dropped altogether from the 22-man squad.

Skipper Stirling Mortlock moves to inside centre in place of Tahu, with Ryan Cross to start outside him, while Stephen Moore is the new hooker at the expense of Polota-Nau.

Adam Freier is the replacement hooker.

In other changes, George Smith replaces Phil Waugh as openside flanker, Nathan Sharpe will start in the second row instead of Hugh McMeniman and Al Baxter at tighthead prop instead of Matt Dunning.

Western Force forward Richard Brown has won a place on the bench in place of Dean Mumm.
In addition to Tri-Nations honours, the Wallabies also need to win to keep alive their hopes of regaining the Bledisloe Cup from New Zealand.

Australia and New Zealand have split the first two trans-Tasman Tests this season, with the fourth and final Bledisloe Cup encounter to be held in Hong Kong on November 1.

Saturday night's Test was today officially declared a sellout, with a crowd of 52,000 to be on hand at Suncorp Stadium.

Australia: Adam Ashley-Cooper, Peter Hynes, Ryan Cross, Stirling Mortlock (capt), Lote Tuqiri, Matt Giteau, Sam Cordingley, Wycliff Palu, George Smith, Rocky Elsom, Nathan Sharpe, James Horwill, Al Baxter, Stephen Moore, Benn Robinson. Reserves: Adam Freier, Matt Dunning, Hugh McMeniman, Phil Waugh, Richard Brown, Brett Sheehan, Drew Mitchell.

I am wondering if I should put on my Wallabies jumper and head to the nearest kiwi pub on Saturday night or stay safe and watch it from home?

Are you a fair weather supporter, or true blue?

    Any kiwis wanna wager?

I'll wear a black jersey if we lose and you wear a wallabies if we win?

    Wallabies by three

I'll be watching the game at Bradmans sports bistro (formerly the Down Under bar) in soi 23, usually a good smattering of Aussies and Kiwis there for some good natured post match banter.

I hope your wrong Marmite and I will copy your post for future reference and if needed

The Wallabies are a different proposition at home and I really think they threw that second game against the yarpies.

That Wallaby Kiwi coach is either the smartest cnut around or he is part of a cross Tasman conspiracy. Only time will tell and yes KW, and all the rest of us aussies, "go the (wobbeles) I mean the Wallabies".

All Blacks will win, unusually the 3N this year isn't a one horse race.

At last the competition has had some mild excitement.

I just put some money down on them to win and I think I might go out. The question is, do I dare wear my Wallabies jumper in a kiwi pub?

28 > 24 and to the Kiwis and as I believe the score was!

Couldn't get out to see the game as I had to take care of the kids whilst my missus was working .

Little bit better than Marmite expected, and I am sure he will remind me like every other pom that they lost.

Well played boys anyway and I think they made a few blokes eat their words.

Anyway on too Wales now and hopefully they can sort out their scrum aging before too long.!

    It was a good 'un.

Down to the wire, last minute, Hollywood scripted kinda stuff.

Highlight of the match was Tony Woodcock, Prop /slash/ winger crossing in the corner.

Was having heart palpitations at the end there. If anyone could've scored at the death and snatched the game it would've been the thieving, canary-yellow wearing, bloody Aussies! Was very relieved when Weepu booted it out.

Perhaps he couldn't, maybe he's gone deaf.

    Odd couple anyway.
