the first day of the masters is over and vejay is -5
seems that the earlier tee times are helping out the players as the greens get faster as the day go's on.
i have a few bucks on mickelson to win
any predictions??

Dont like golf.
Using big sticks to get things in the right holes.... That's better saved for the bedroom!

How anyone can not like golf is quite beyond me.
How anyone can enjoy sex more than golf is quite beyond me.
Golf is a boring sport.
A quiet beautiful location with a few players watching each other take their shots, you can see the expressions of stress on their faces! Dressed in clothes my Grandad would be proud of.
Just not for me. I prefer something a little more rough, martial arts.
Welcome to the jungle!
when you are a little older with more resposibilities,4 or 5 hours on a quiet golf course with no phones or wives nagging,is without a doubt heaven
I shall launch my tirade when I have time for my 1,000 word reply.Golf is a boring sport.
sheeesh Ice.....
Flash - I can think of plenty of places that are quiet, a golf course would be the last of my choices. Not for everyone I guess.
CMN - Sorry mate! Try asking me if I like golf in a few more years. I might just change my mind.
Back to the OP.
I am a masive Vijay fan and the course has been lengthened to a ridiculous degree, helping the huge hitters out there.
Few journeymen ever come out on top at the masters and it would be difficult to look beyond the top 5 players.
My personal fave golfer is Retief Goosen, though I love the Vijay swing, so languid, would kill for that bastards swing, though I have now modelled my underhanded putting grip on his, which has helped no end with my yips.
harrington said in his interview after his round today that the longer hole's won't really make any difference in the dry weather,
i think it will come down to the short game in the end as nearly all of them are making 2 putts.
that has to be one of the most beautiful course's around,
how do you think tiger will do?
he's only 5 shots off it at the moment I think, which is not a lot for him.
Personally I hate seeing him win.
Last year was rooting for Di Marco in the play off, gutted for him in the end.
not a big tiger fan myself, but he is the man to beat.
i would love to see John Daly do well
Does this really belong in the Sports section?

Sure 20 min later you were back on line ---- minor problems, never seen a poor Oil company!
Never played in Udon, live in Pattaya with 19 courses around, plenty of choice and some excellent courses.
Plenty of watering holes abound after the "match"
Keep turning to the right n all that good stuff.
I play out here on the rig when I get a chance got a #3 driver and 7 iron and wander around the desert smacking balls around the Arabs thing I am fucking mad maybe they are right
Sure the Ragheads are right, you sound like a "Nutter"! no sand iron????
Where are you?
I've promised myself to leave golf alone until I hit 40. I've still got my rugby to keep myself busy.Originally Posted by Airportwo
Congratulations to Phil Mickelson on a job very well done. Now that he can concentrate for 72 holes perhaps he can win a lot more. A real nice guy as well.
