| Olympics - NZ's medals. Just looking at the medal tally. New Zealand have 2 rowing golds and 3 rowing bronze and that's all. Why is it that they can only win going backwards? |

| Sundance is my bff | Not that any of these comparisons means that much, but the US is leading with 65 medals overall, though China has dominated the golds. Oz is still in 3rd overall, with again half as many as US & China. The US has 300 million people, China 4 times as many, and Australia has a paltry 24 million - basically the population of greater Los Angeles. I'd say Australia is the greatest Olympic nation per capita on the globe. And, you all know I'm no Joey. |
