| A Colts fan from way back. Given a few factors, have pretty much given up trying. 1. Local TV coverage chops games to bits making them unwatchable. 2. Coverage is spotty at best. 3. The 12-hour time difference is a drag. 4. I'm a big college football fan, and get one game a week on my euro-centric sports based UBC doesn't cut it. Once a fuckin bush leaguer, always a bush leaguer. A shame -- but that's what Thais like. Simple, cheap, basic, rudimentary. Anything more baffles them. |

| I would think it takes some getting used to if you're not familiar. More of a chess match -- with time to consider individual plays. Rather than a continuous flow like soccer or rugby. Clock management and timeouts are crucial. The detractors are video-review (like rugby) and commercial breaks -- hate 'em. The final two minutes of a close game might last 15 minutes. Too long imo -- buncha coaches standing around trying to consider the opponent. Also, positions are very specialized. Many players never touch the ball. Only two per team will ever likely kick it. If you're unwilling to open your mind, you'll hate it. If you're like most Americans who appreciate rugby, you'll enjoy it. If you're gay you might not like it. |

| you can only really enjoy it if you understand it, like Tex said it is a very tactical game and the coach plays as big a role as the players. I didn't enjoy watching it live, every time the tv has a break the game is stopped so for a game with 60 mins play time it takes around 4 hours, so much better to watch at home or in a bar. the tv companys have a lot of control over it. i think thats why soccer isn't very big in the states, no time for adverts during the game

| I am a Cowboys fan and have been for many, many years (and I do remember Big Daddy). It is really tough being a Cowboys fan these days as our season doesn't really start until December and it hasn't gone so well in the past few years either. Then again, I only have 3 more months until our season starts. Probably since I grew up with American football it is my favorite sport to watch. I have tried to get interested in soccer, especially since there are 8 games on at any one time, but I can only get interested when it is country vs. country (i.e. World Cup). Time differences are tough, hence, I bought True's PVR so I can easily record the games without too much of a hassle. |

| I used to follow the Bills when i was at school and played a little back then too. We had a team at school which wasn't that common as I'm from Scotland. They only had around 5 junior teams in the whole country |

| Go Pats! yep its starting again. Not too bad coverage here in terms of the number of games you can watch on a weekend. Of course problem is the time difference. Sunday night and Monday night games OK for those of us that don't punch a clock... If you follow a specific team odds are you can see more of them on ROJADIRECTA, ver fútbol gratis en directo, recién finalizados y video resúmenes. TVp2p streams ( PPlive SOPcast PPStream TVants UUSEE TVKoo Streaming ... ) Real Madrid Barça ROJA DIRECTA ! torrents emule torrent via P2P if you have a decent broadband connection. On the front page look for HELP and it will direct you to where you can download the different P2P software. Live and pretty good quality depending on the internet connection. Cant wait for the 'real' season to start. AFC East will be interesting to watch.. Parcells/pennington vs Belicheck/Brady with Mancheaty/Favre and Buffalo is young and would have a decent team last year without a raft of IR guys. Have fun bound to be a good year. E. G.

| Nope all free. They depend on someone to 'grab' the broadcast and then disperse it. Works really well if there are a lot of folks using it to rebroadcast it, at least that's the idea I have. Watched most of the Pats games that weren't on Nat. TV here last year. One of the best ways if the commercials bug you is to watch the replays that generally are on the next morning... cut all the commercials. I like to watch them live and hear the announcers screw things up. PHil Simms dropped a cup of hot coffee last year and the mike was open during a TV commercial. "oh, fuck!" .... some of them are so stupid its amazing. Mr. Buck who everyone thinks is a genius comes out with some really lame questions during the commercial breaks... too funny. |

| ^ See my above post. I was a Pats fan when the Bears did the Super Bowl Shuffle on their heads back in 85. I was a real hit at the game. Al my buds were dancing around and razzing me every time the Bears scored. I still have emotional scars from that night.

| Game pass Just remembered that I watch all live MLB for 19.95 mo. during the regular season. Why not the NFL.. went looking and they do have a "Game Pass" package for those outside of the US>.. All 250 games during the season. No active links yet but will keep looking and will post if they open up. E. G. |
