Kin 'ell, hadn't looked at the table for a couple of weeks and just saw my beloved tractor boys are now up to 8th after a disastrous start to the season, looks like it will be a battle for a play off spot as opposed to a relegation battle which i feared earlier on in the season.

This thread needs a bump especially after what happened today.

    Reading V Cardiff City 2nd V 5th.

Cardiff City score in the 89th minute through Michael Chopra to make it 1-0, 4th official indicates 4 minutes injury time will be played, and in the 96th fucking minute the Reading GOALKEEPER, I repeat GOALKEEPER SCORES to make it 1-1
    un-be-fucking-lievable!!!

    sickening wasn't it.

never been so gutted but would have killed for a draw before the game.

things are looking good for cardiff.

2 nice home fixtures coming up.

Nice win for Cardiff against Plymouth last night although they left it late to score.
    Up to 4th now.
Spoke to a few of the boys who were at the game and they said we played shite but still got the win which is a good sign.
Michael Chopra going back to Sunderland today will be a big loss but on the bright side Ross McCormack is back from injury now, let's hope we can do some deals in January to get Michael Chopra back and Wayne Routledge to stay at Cardiff would be amazing and I would be feeling pretty confident about the rest of the season!!

Can you imagine them in the premiership, I'd like to see it.

I've spent so many years following them, even went to Aston Villa once.

Before moving to SEA 4 years ago I was a season ticket holder for 9 years and a weekly regular for the previous 6 (couldn't afford one!!)
Have asked myself so many times why the f*ck do I bother, watching them lose to the likes of Northampton in the pissing down rain on a tuesday night with 3000 other idiots is stupidity.
Last season getting to the FA Cup final was a massive payback and being at Wembley and watching us beat Barnsley and getting to the final was the best moment in my 19 years as a supporter.
Now we are playing decent football and attracting the crowds on a weekly basis which will raise the finance levels for the club and show investors the possibilities at Ninian Park.
Premiership football was always at the back of my mind for most of my time as a fan but now the dream seems to be getting a little closer, My family are always trying to get me to move back to Cardiff and the lure of being at the new stadium next season is proving very hard to knock back.

Sky Sports | Football News | Championship | Cardiff City | Rangers to win Routledge race

this would be dissappointing if true.

The QPR fans on 606 think it's in the bag already.

^ shame as we have been playing some good football and stringing results together. I suppose it gives our players time to recover especially with such a small squad of players.

Birmingham away today, don't get much tougher than that in this league, just hoping Birmingham's midweek game against Wolves takes it's toll on their players and we come away with 3 points.

Really got start paying more regular attention to the table, down in 11th now and away to Palce today, so a win is vital to stay in touch or it looks like mid table again.

two games in a fucking row now!!! Cardiff conceding late equalisers are really pissing me off.

Last time out Reading Goalkeeper scored in the 96th minute and today Lee TWATFACE Bowyer scored in the 95th minute, don't get me wrong both games I would have been happy with a draw in both games at the start but to throw away points when we should have them sewn up is a bastard!!

    BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBIRDS!!!!

Up to 4th in the league and still with a game in hand, things are looking promising now.

And the man the Coventry lads were slagging off on another thread got it underway last night

    Coventry 0-2 Cardiff

Jay Bothroyd puts Cardiff City ahead against his former club

Promotion-chasing Cardiff extended their unbeaten run in the league to 10 after a dominant display at Coventry.
Former Sky Blue Jay Bothroyd put the Bluebirds ahead on 34 minutes stabbing home the rebound after keeper Keiren Westwood saved his initial header.
Ross McCormack doubled the lead just on the hour after Gavin Rae set him free to slot under the onrushing Westwood for his 16th goal of the season.
Freddy Eastwood had Coventry's best chance at 0-0 but saw his shot saved.
The win takes Cardiff up to fourth in the Championship with a game in hand over their rivals.

Cardiff boss Dave Jones: "How we didn't come in 5-0 at half time... unbelievable. "We kept going in the second half and we upped the tempo. "It was important to come here and get the three points, it had to be the three points because of what happened last night (results going Cardiff's way)."

Of all the fookin coonts that could score against us it had to be that coont Boythrood.

By far the better team last night, not suprised with our dismal home form - being over here as saved me a few bob

    Anyway still a jack too

woke up at about 2.50 last night and found a radio commentary on justintv from radio midlands or some such.

sounded like a genuine drubbing and could easily have been 4 or 5 goals.

    roll on Forest on Saturday.

^ Forest not on a bad bit of form themselves.

^^ Jacks playing very well and a possibility of and all Welsh Play off final!!
would be an electrifying atmosphere at Wembley should that happen and no doubt very violent, 35,000 of each clubs supporters

a lot of teams in the play off shout stuttering at the moment.
great to see Doncaster beat sheffield and Preston getting peppered by swansea.

i fancy swansea will make play offs along with QPR, Cardiff and Brum, though wolves look like they might have peaked like watford did last season.

wonder if they can hold on.

if cardiff were to take their game in hand over derby, it leaves us only 6 points behins second spot.

did you know cardiff had lost only 4 games this season, the best losing record in the division, swansea next bast with 5 defeats, but oh, the pain of some of those draws.

Norwich, Birmingham, Reading and Blackpool stand out horribly.

If Cardiff made it to second spot I would, believe it or not I would be supporting Swansea if they made it into the play-offs.
As much as they are our local rivals and they rip up seats and throw them in the family enclosure, it would be fantastic for Welsh football to see our only two teams in the football league in the premiership.

But until Cardiff secure second spot Swansea can f*ck off!!

    Happy New Century thread CMN
